Bali, January 23, 2025 – Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency, Teuku Riefky Harsya, held discussions with creative economy players in the Island of the Gods to discuss the development of the creative economy.
Minister of Creative Economy Riefky stated that the purpose of this meeting was to gather input from creative economy players in Bali, as the creative economy must be strengthened as a driving force for the national economy, starting at the regional level. This will help formulate effective policies to support the development of the creative economy in Bali.
"The goal of this discussion is to gather input from creative economy players in Bali so that we can formulate effective policies to support the development of the creative economy in the region," said Minister of Creative Economy Riefky.
"The Ministry of Creative Economy is ready to contribute and bridge creative economy players with stakeholders to provide broader and more effective support," he added.
Meanwhile, Bagus Dhanar Dhana, a musician, stated that this discussion provided him with an opportunity to voice his aspirations and concerns in the creative economy sector, particularly in music. Bagus hopes the government can help enhance the progress of creative economy players so they can grow, advance, and gain international recognition.
"This discussion allows creative economy players to express their aspirations and challenges so that the government can help accelerate their progress and expand their international reach," said Bagus Dhanar Dhana.
According to Andreas, also a musician, the discussion with Minister of Creative Economy Riefky was crucial as it provided creative economy players with the chance to express their concerns and aspirations. It also facilitated collaboration between creative economy players, the government, and other stakeholders to develop the music industry and the creative economy in Indonesia.
"I hope events like this can happen more frequently, not just to hear opinions but also to develop projects and programs that foster the growth of this industry," added musician Andreas.
During this meeting, Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency Teuku Riefky Harsya was accompanied by the Secretary of the Ministry of Creative Economy/Chief Secretary of the Creative Economy Agency, Dessy Ruhati.
