The meaningful design demonstrates cross-sector collaboration and creativity capable of inspiring the younger generation,” said the Deputy Minister of Creative Economy.

Following the success of the “Ayo Naik Garuda” livery collaboration with Tahilalats in early 2025, the Ministry of Creative Economy and Garuda Indonesia continue to strengthen support for the creative industry. The 80th Anniversary “Cap Bali” design highlights traditional Nusantara motifs while empowering young creative talents. This initiative aligns with the Ministry’s strategy of positioning the creative economy as the new engine of growth for Indonesia.

President Director of Garuda Indonesia, Wamildan Tsani Panjaitan, stated that since its establishment, Garuda has been committed to driving innovation while upholding national identity.

“This special 80th Independence Day livery combines cultural heritage motifs with the creativity of young Indonesians, serving as tangible proof of Garuda’s support for the national creative industry,” said Wamildan.

Illustrator Erika Richardo also shared: “This collaboration presents 16 ethnic groups in Indonesia, representing the archipelago and super-priority tourism destinations. We hope this design fosters unity and national pride while inspiring young creators to continue innovating and preserving culture.”

Through such cross-sector collaborations, it is expected that more creative works by Indonesian talents will reach national and global platforms, increasing the visibility of Indonesia’s intellectual property worldwide.
