Jakarta, 20 February, 2026 – Deputy Minister of Creative Economy / Deputy Head of the Creative Economy Agency Irene Umar received an audience with influencer Daniel Hermansyah along with several content creators at the Office of the Ministry of Creative Economy, Jakarta, Friday (2/20). The meeting discussed opportunities for strategic collaboration to expand the presence of Indonesian musicians in the global market, particularly through the approach of Asian popular culture.
The Deputy Minister of Creative Economy, Irene Umar, received an audience with content creators and influencer Daniel Hermansyah at the Office of the Ministry of Creative Economy, Jakarta, Friday (2/20/2026).
During the audience, the Deputy Minister of Creative Economy reaffirmed the Ministry of Creative Economy’s commitment to opening broader avenues for creative collaboration, including the provision of performance stages at the National Chinese New Year Celebration. This initiative is expected to serve as a gateway for Indonesian musical talents to penetrate the international entertainment industry, including the K-pop market.

“We are pleased to provide as much stage opportunity as possible. Now that we have connected, we have a clearer sense of the possible next steps. With the experience that Chuseyo possesses, we can explore further possibilities for collaboration,” said Irene Umar.
Daniel Hermansyah, who also serves as Director of Chuseyo Digital, a digital agency specializing in K-pop, stated that the meeting was part of an effort to introduce Indonesian talents working abroad to the national creative ecosystem.

“In fact, there are many local talents who have debuted as members of idol groups in Korea, Malaysia, and Taiwan. We are certainly proud and want to support their success,” said Daniel.
“Several idols from Indonesia include Carmen of Hearts2Hearts, Kim of VVUP, CLEO of IMETU, Zayyan of Xodiac, Vanesya and Via of NWHI, Dita Karang, Loudi, as well as Dinda of Secret Number. There are also Grace in HUR+ (Taiwan), as well as Cindy and Diva of KLP48 (Malaysia). Hopefully, more young people will be able to follow in their footsteps.”

The Ministry of Creative Economy views the involvement of digital creators as an essential element in the development of the national creative economy ecosystem. Cross-country collaboration is expected to expand networks, strengthen promotion, and open up opportunities for cooperation among national creative industry players.
