“Indonesia’s game industry has strong talent, but it still requires a bridge to the global market in the form of funding, mentorship, and distribution,” said the Deputy Minister while attending the Yellow Heart Launch Day at Garuda Spark Innovation Hub, fX Sudirman, Jakarta, on Wednesday (29/4).
This event served as a meeting platform for the Ministry of Creative Economy, industry players, and game associations connected through IGDX 2025 as well as various national game incubation and competition programs. The Deputy Minister added that the launch of Yellow Hearts’ first two games—TypeCaster by TBA Studio and Irradiant Skies by Cuboids Studio—demonstrates tangible results from a sustainable ecosystem development process.
“Both titles illustrate how the ecosystem works, from incubation and competition to business matchmaking that connects talent with industry,” she added.
From the government’s perspective, the Special Staff to the Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs, Alfreno Kautsar Ramadhan, noted that Yellow Hearts reflects the strengthening of an increasingly integrated national digital ecosystem.
