Jakarta, October 9, 2025 – The government is paying close attention to the rapid development of the digital sector, including the cybersecurity ecosystem. A collaborative and secure digital space is essential to accelerate the creative economy, which continues to grow as a national economic engine.
Menteri Ekonomi Kreatif, Teuku Riefky Harsya, menerima audiensi dari National Cybersecurity Connect (NCC), Jakarta, Kamis (09/10/2025).
“Creative economy is the new engine of growth. Digital transformation is not just adaptation, but part of the evolution of the national economy that starts from the regions,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya during a meeting with the National Cybersecurity Connect (NCC) delegation at the Creative Economy Ministry office on Thursday, October 9, 2025.
NCC is a national collaboration forum in cybersecurity, now entering its fourth year. It was initiated by the National Association of Information and Communication Technology Entrepreneurs (APTIKNAS), the Indonesian Digitalization and Cybersecurity Association (ADIGSI), the Ansor Youth Movement (GP Ansor), and PT Naganaya Indonesia.
“NCC exists with one main mission: to strengthen Indonesia’s cybersecurity system. We are ready to collaborate and present NCC 2025 to provide greater support for this ecosystem,” Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky stated.
NCC 2025 will be held on October 29–30, 2025, at Bidakara Hotel Jakarta, featuring four main agenda formats:
Main Conference presenting national and international speakers;
Technology Exhibition showcasing local and global innovations;
Strategic Discussions & Workshops sharing best practices and improving human resource capacity; and
Networking & Collaboration Hub connecting industry players, government, and the digital community.
As a strategic platform that brings together the government, industry, communities, and young digital talents, NCC is seen as essential in strengthening national cybersecurity and boosting Indonesia’s creative economy competitiveness. The digital sector is also the subsector with the highest investment value among the 17 creative economy subsectors.
Based on data from the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) processed by the Creative Economy Ministry in 2025, investment in the digital applications subsector reached Rp 15.49 trillion. This reinforces the importance of cybersecurity as a foundation for sustainable creative economy growth.
Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky also noted that the development of the creative sector requires updates to the Standard Industrial Classification (KBLI) to align with innovations such as AI, blockchain, the Internet of Things, and cybersecurity.

“We will coordinate with BPS and Bappenas to ensure that policies and incentives in this sector have a strong foundation through relevant KBLI categories. We will report this to the President at the end of the year as part of creative sector reforms,” he added.
Meanwhile, PT Naganaya Indonesia CEO Aditya Adiguna, as the organizer of NCC 2025, highlighted this year’s theme: “Building Data Security Readiness Towards Economic Resilience.” He emphasized the importance of strengthening cybersecurity amid strong economic growth.
“Rapid economic growth must be accompanied by readiness and capability in cybersecurity. Locally-developed technology must be supported and developed to become globally competitive,” he said.
“We see many remarkable technological innovations, but many fail to scale due to the lack of strong business models. The Creative Economy Ministry is expected to act as an accelerator for the development of local tech business ecosystems so that Indonesian-made cybersecurity products can survive and compete,” Aditya added.
