Banten, December 7, 2025 — As an expression of empathy and solidarity, the Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency, together with 100 musicians, held a charity concert titled “100 Musicians Heal Sumatra” to raise donations for flood victims in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra. The inaugural concert took place at T-Space, Bintaro, South Tangerang, on Sunday, December 7, 2025.

“This week, we gather as a form of empathy together with 100 Indonesian musicians who want to help our brothers and sisters in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra. The Ministry of Creative Economy fully supports this initiative, and we agree that this movement should be carried out sustainably so that it can help ease the burden of communities affected across Sumatra,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya.
The Minister expressed appreciation to all collaborating parties, including the Ministry of Culture, the Agency for State-Owned Enterprises Management (BP BUMN), the University of Indonesia Alumni Association (ILUNI UI), and several other strategic partners who have contributed to this social movement through creative approaches to fundraising.
“Through mutual cooperation for humanitarian purposes, we pray that the affected regions can soon recover with the support of the donations that have been collected,” the Minister added.

The Charity Concert: 100 Musicians – Heal Sumatra is not only a musical performance, but also a humanitarian movement aimed at raising funds, spreading moral support, and strengthening the spirit of recovery for disaster survivors. The concert was initiated by Tompi (musician), Irma Hutabarat (journalist and social activist), and Kodri Mohammad (lawyer). The solidarity concert featured prominent musicians such as Vina Panduwinata, Judika, Nyoman Paul, Rio Febrian, Sandy Sandoro, Marcello Tahitoe, Netta KD, and many other talented artists.
“Every tear we shed reflects the grief we feel for our brothers and sisters there. Now is the time for us to reach out wholeheartedly, and hopefully this kindness and goodwill will continue. What these musicians are doing can provide comfort through beautiful melodies and meaningful lyrics. May your good hearts be rewarded accordingly,” said Irma Hutabarat.
The 100 Musicians Charity Concert will be held again on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Lippo Mall Kemang, South Jakarta. Members of the public who wish to donate may do so through BNI account number 2025807896 under the name ILUNI UI.

Accompanying the Minister of Creative Economy at the event were the Deputy for Strategic Development of the Creative Economy, Cecep Rukendi; Director of Music, Mohammad Amin; and the Minister’s Expert Staff for Digital Communication, Ridha Pradana. Also in attendance were the Deputy Head of BP BUMN, Tedi Bharata; Director General of Development, Utilization, and Guidance at the Ministry of Culture, Ahmad Mahendra; as well as several representatives from the boards of state-owned enterprises.
