Jakarta, June 11, 2025 – Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY); Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, along with several members of the Merah Putih Cabinet, attended the Gala Dinner of the International Conference on Infrastructure (ICI) at Fairmont Hotel, Jakarta, on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. The presence of the ministers demonstrated the government's commitment to prioritizing strategic partnerships among stakeholders to support inclusive and sustainable national development.

Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development AHY stated that the government supports communication among conference participants and aims to strengthen collaboration in a more intimate atmosphere.
“Tonight is a moment for connection and reflection. Through this occasion, we can strengthen our partnerships to build the regions and lay the foundation of hope for infrastructure and regional development across Asia. This is not about luxurious buildings or flashy mega-projects. It is about national resilience and sovereignty, about building wisely and wholeheartedly,” said Coordinating Minister AHY.
He emphasized the importance of future infrastructure development that directly impacts communities and drives economic growth.
“We must build infrastructure that is not only strong but also fair and inclusive. Every road, port, and energy network must respond to the needs of the people and strengthen national competitiveness. Let’s build green cities, empower clean energy, invest in climate resilience, and bridge the digital divide,” he added.
Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky added, “All parties present at the International Conference on Infrastructure have the opportunity to foster strong collaboration in creating sustainable economic growth and improving community welfare.”
ICI 2025 is an international forum that brings together industry and global partners to shape a sustainable, inclusive, and resilient future for Indonesia. Organized by the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development of the Republic of Indonesia, the conference serves as a momentum to reinforce the spirit of collaboration in addressing future development challenges.
Minister Teuku Riefky also emphasized that infrastructure and the creative economy can develop when there are creative spaces that attract investment and generate quality job opportunities.
“This can be a moment that unites ministries, government agencies, the private sector, development partners, and global investors to open communication pathways for accelerating infrastructure development, including the provision of creative spaces across regions in Indonesia,” said Minister Teuku Riefky.

During the conference, a variety of traditional Indonesian dishes, including Tahu Walik from Surabaya, Asinan Buah from Bogor, Soto Banjar, Konro Makassar, and Es Teler Batok Kelapa from Jakarta, were served at the dinner tables. In addition to the dinner, the event was enlivened by cultural performances, including traditional dances from various regions of Indonesia. While enjoying the meal, guests were also entertained by singer Novia Bachmid, who performed Zamrud Khatulistiwa, Tanah Airku, Mahadaya Cinta, and several other songs that brought a festive atmosphere.
The dinner was also attended by Minister of Public Works Dody Hanggodo; Minister of Transmigration Muhammad Iftitah Sulaiman Suryanagara; Governor of Aceh Muzakir Manaf; representatives of regional leaders; ambassadors of partner countries; Special Staff to the Coordinating Minister for Non-Government and International Cooperation, Merry Riana; and other VIP guests.
Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky was accompanied by Deputy for Strategic Development of Creative Economy, Cecep Rukendi, and Special Staff to the Minister for Strategic and Interagency Issues, Rian Firmansyah.
