Jakarta, 3 November 2025 – The Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency welcomed the strategic collaboration initiative with EVOS Esports, Indonesia’s leading esports organization. The initiative aims not only to elevate the achievements of esports athletes on the global stage but also to strengthen the ecosystem and support the growth of local game developers.

“The Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency welcomes the collaboration proposal from EVOS Esports, a team with strong potential and opportunities to become a driving force in nurturing a healthier and expanding esports ecosystem. We believe in the team’s proven expertise and international experience,” said Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency Teuku Riefky Harsya during the audience with EVOS Esports at the Ministry’s meeting room, Autograph Tower, Jakarta, on Monday, 3 November 2025.
The Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency identifies 17 creative economy subsectors and continues to prioritize seven of them, including culinary, crafts, fashion, music, film-animation-video, and notably games and applications. The Minister also emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to advancing local game development to strengthen Indonesia’s game ecosystem at the global level.
“On one hand, we support esports talents and athletes, but on the other hand, the Ministry is also mandated to empower local game developers so they continue to grow. This way, the Ministry's targets can be achieved by creating jobs across subsectors and contributing to export value and investment for the national economy,” said the Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency.
EVOS Esports is an esports organization established in Indonesia in 2016. It has grown rapidly, developing nine divisions across popular game titles such as Free Fire, Mobile Legends, Call of Duty, Pokémon Unite, Delta Force, and others. The organization’s commitment is increasingly evident with the development of its Integrated Training Facility (ITF) at One Belpark Mall, positioning EVOS as one of the strongest esports forces in Southeast Asia.

“We hope to collaborate with the Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency to produce a short movie or video feature that showcases EVOS Esports’ achievements, including our victory in the championship in Saudi Arabia earlier this year. We also hope to explore opportunities to collaborate with local game titles and discuss further possibilities. Moving forward, we aim to achieve even more accomplishments that make Indonesia proud,” said Aufa Bassam, Head of Esports.

In this meeting, the Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency was accompanied by Special Advisor to the Minister for Internal Management and Organizational Effectiveness, Yanuar Pranuradhi, and Director of Games, Luat S.P. Sihombing. Representatives from EVOS Esports, including players, coaches, and managers from various regions, were also present, sharing the same spirit of elevating Indonesia’s esports reputation on the global stage.
