Jakarta, June 17, 2025 – Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, and Deputy Minister of Creative Economy, Irene Umar, attended a special showcase of race cars on display in the lobby of Autograph Tower, Jakarta, on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. The exhibition is a continuation of the Ministry’s initiative to foster collaboration between local creators emerging from the JFF 2025 X Sekuya livery design competition and the curated 13 IPs from Ekraf Hunt.

Minister Teuku Riefky expressed his appreciation to all parties involved in organizing the exhibition. He emphasized that this event serves as a platform for local intellectual properties (IPs) to showcase talent and foster cross-sectoral partnerships.
“I greatly appreciate today’s event and the previous ones—whether at Jakarta Future Festival or Mandalika. This is strong proof that our local IPs are capable of entering unconventional mediums such as automotive, like the race cars showcased today,” said Minister Riefky.
He further expressed support for local IPs to reach international audiences, thereby creating quality job opportunities and driving new economic growth engines.
“We thank all parties—from the organizers to the automotive sector, and the supporters including the Jakarta Provincial Government—for opening wide avenues for our creative talents to go national and global,” he added.
The race cars on display at Thamrin Nine’s ballroom are the tangible result of hexahelix collaboration involving Thamrin Nine Building, Sekuya, Maxdecal, Radical, and local IP owners, supported by the Ministry of Creative Economy. This serves as a testament to how creativity can translate into economic value and how motorsports can be synergized with both emerging and established local IPs.
The 13 selected IPs from Ekraf Hunt 2025 are: Desa Timun, Nongnoi Pikkumi, Punopals, Wakakibo Kids, CRLY, Fun Cican, Pete Ijo, Redmiler Blood, Sundate Stories, Tenka Street, Khuga, Halo Miyu, and Starla.
Deputy Minister Irene Umar noted that the initiative is a manifestation of President Prabowo Subianto’s directive to eliminate sectoral egos. The two race cars on display are the result of design competitions from the Jakarta Future Festival (JFF).

The competition, supported by the Ministry and the Jakarta Provincial Government, carried the theme “Jakarta Level Up”, symbolizing Jakarta’s leap toward the future. One car in pink carries this theme, while the other car in silver/blue showcases the 13 local IPs curated through the Ekraf Hunt program.
“If anyone’s looking to collaborate or partner with local IPs, just come to Thamrin Nine and talk to us. We’ll help match you up—because at the Ministry, we consider ourselves the ‘matchmaking bureau’ for creative collaboration. This is how we help creative industries go global and become the new engine of national economic growth,” said Deputy Minister Irene in a relaxed tone.
The event was also attended by Joshua Budiman, Co-Founder of Sekuya; Hendro, Director of Radical Indonesia; Yahya, Founder of Max; Nathasha, General Manager of Liquimoly; Hartman, Co-Founder & CEO of EVOS Esports; Virdy, Manager of Maxdecal; Armi Kusuma, Creator of Punopals; Ayunda, CMOO of Punopals; Nabila, Creator of Hello Miu; and various other guests and IP creators.
Minister Teuku Riefky was accompanied by Secretary General Dessy Ruhati and Deputy for Strategic Development of the Creative Economy, Cecep Rukendi.
