“With the status of PPPK, I hope we all understand the direction of the President’s and Ministry’s policies and can provide a positive impact for the public. Let us unite, work with focus, and achieve results. This Ministry of Creative Economy must be an institution that creates benefits, not just exists,” said Minister of Creative Economy Riefky during his speech at the event held at Gedung Film Pesona Indonesia, Jakarta, on Thursday, 11 September 2025.
The event also marked the symbolic handover of Employee Identification Decrees (SK NIP) to the 113 PPPK. Minister Riefky added that civil servants at the Ministry of Creative Economy must understand the creative economy ecosystem across all subsectors. For instance, the culinary subsector is not just about restaurants, but also involves media, influencers, schools, and universities.
“A comprehensive understanding of the ecosystem is key to supporting the Ministry’s targets, including investment, exports, job creation, and contribution to GDP,” emphasized Minister of Creative Economy Riefky.
Secretary of the Ministry/Chief Secretary Dessy Ruhati reported that the PPPK recruitment process began in September 2024 and resulted in 113 new civil servants with diverse educational backgrounds: 93 bachelor’s degree graduates, 10 diploma holders, 9 high school graduates, and 1 diploma IV holder. This composition reflects strong potential to support the Ministry’s performance going forward.

“Performance evaluations will be conducted regularly through the E-Kinerja system, which is a crucial instrument to ensure accountability for every employee,” she said.
The event concluded with the symbolic handover of the PPPK decrees by Minister of Creative Economy Riefky to representatives of the employees. This moment is expected to mark the beginning of a dedicated service with the spirit of making the creative economy a new engine of national growth.
