The Monas area will serve as the starting point of the Independence Carnival, which is scheduled to begin tomorrow at 19.30 WIB. The event is a celebratory parade featuring a motorcade of creatively decorated vehicles moving from Monas to the Semanggi intersection.
Each participating ministry or agency will present their flagship initiatives along with “Independence Cosplay” representing the Six National Priority Programs: Food and Energy Sovereignty, Free Nutritious Meals, People’s Schools, Free Health Checkups, Red-and-White Cooperative Program, and Three Million Subsidized Homes. The public can also participate in the festivities by voting for the most creative carnival vehicle via the official microsite.
“The Independence Carnival is more than a parade—it is a platform for developing creative potential across ministries, agencies, the Armed Forces, Police, and state-owned enterprises, featuring flagship programs alongside dozens of local IP showcases,” the Minister of Creative Economy added.
The Deputy Minister of Creative Economy emphasized that the Carnival’s preparations, as part of the 80th Independence Day series, require cross-sector collaboration and reflect equitable creative development across the nation.

Deputy Minister of Tourism Ni Luh Puspa, who also attended the site visit, stated that the Independence Carnival is a meaningful platform to support the vision and mission of President Prabowo Subianto.

Let us join hands, support one another, and work together to ensure the success of tomorrow’s People’s Festival and Independence Carnival,” she said.
