“The Ministry of Creative Economy supports this step, because we believe the future of the nation’s economy lies in the hands of a creative young generation. The creative world is so broad: from film, music, culinary arts, applications, games, handicrafts, to design. Our collective responsibility is to prepare the children to become confident, disciplined, and open to new opportunities,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky on Tuesday, 26 August 2025.
The visit also marks the potential collaboration between the Community School and the Ministry of Creative Economy Talenta Ekraf program, which focuses on enhancing human resource capabilities. During the visit, Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky not only observed the learning process firsthand but also conveyed insights on the role of the creative economy as a driver of national growth.
Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya stated that the Community School serves as a concrete manifestation of equalizing access to quality education in the regions. During the occasion, Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky also provided gifts to students and educators at SRMP 25 Kendari. He expressed appreciation for the dedication of teachers and volunteers who devote themselves to educating the nation’s children. He emphasized that their commitment is a key factor supporting the success of Community Schools in various regions.
“Here, the roles of teachers, administrators, and parents are extremely strategic. Teachers are not only educators but also role models who foster students’ courage to dream big. Parents hold an equally important role by creating a supportive home environment, instilling values of integrity, hard work, and perseverance. Collaboration between teachers at school and parents at home is key to shaping an outstanding generation,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky.
SRMP 25 is a boarding-based Community School, established as an alternative educational institution with the support of the Ministry of Social Affairs through Sentra Meohai. SRMP 25 is equipped with various facilities including computer and science laboratories, art facilities, a library, dormitories, kitchens, classrooms, laptops, and student health units.
