Jakarta, 21 November 2025 – The Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency, Teuku Riefky Harsya, attended the Aceh Youth Summit (AYS) 2025 held at SMESCO Exhibition Hall, Jakarta. The youth forum featured a series of talkshows, cultural performances, and an MSME Expo, providing a platform for Acehnese youth from across Indonesia to meet, learn, and expand their networks.

“I am truly grateful that AYS 2025 is running smoothly today. It is a pride to see the young generation of Aceh bravely rekindle the spirit of collaboration,” said Minister Teuku Riefky Harsya on Friday, 21 November 2025.
Initiated by the Acehnese Students and Youth Association (IMAPA) Jakarta, AYS 2025 adopted the theme Collaboration for a Sustainable Generation. Minister Riefky commended IMAPA Jakarta for creating a strategic space for Acehnese youth to contribute to the creative economy sector.
The Minister also emphasized the significant potential of youth to drive innovation, strengthen collaboration, and take an active role in regional and national development. He highlighted the importance of sustaining collaboration and trust in talent development processes.

“My hope is that this meeting does not stop at discussion but results in tangible commitments for collaboration, talent development, support for Aceh’s diverse potential, and concrete steps that bring direct benefits to the local economy. Let us make creativity the new strength of Aceh,” affirmed Minister Teuku Riefky.
AYS 2025 focused on five main themes: Human Resource Development, Digital and Innovation, Creative Economy Development, Energy and Environment, and the Aceh Governance Law. Each session featured experts, academics, industry practitioners, activists, and young Acehnese leaders who have contributed nationally.
In addition to thematic discussions, the event showcased an Art Cultural Performance presenting Aceh’s rich arts in creative and contemporary formats. The performances reinforced cultural identity while encouraging the regeneration of artistic talent among youth.

The MSME Expo was also a key component, highlighting creative products by young Acehnese entrepreneurs and student communities. This platform provided opportunities for business collaboration, idea exchange, and network expansion among creative industry players and Acehnese youth across cities.
Sulthan Fansuri Selian, Chairman of IMAPA Jakarta, stated that AYS serves as a momentum to strengthen solidarity among Acehnese youth in the diaspora.
“We believe that the future of Aceh requires concrete and sustainable collaboration. This forum is a space to take the first steps,” he said.

The event, held from 21–23 November 2025 at SMESCO Exhibition Hall, Jakarta, was also attended by various Acehnese leaders and members of the Aceh Regional Leadership Coordination Forum.
During the summit, Minister Teuku Riefky was accompanied by Director of Intellectual Property Facilitation Development, Muhammad Fauzy, and Director of Infrastructure Facilitation, Fahmy Akmal.
