Jakarta, January 21, 2025 – Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency, Teuku Riefky Harsya, welcomed a delegation from the National Council of the Alumni Corps of the Islamic Students Association (KAHMI), which is set to organize the Asian Islamic Fashion and Art (AIFA)exhibition in early 2025. Minister of Creative Economy Riefky expressed his appreciation for the initiative while also discussing potential collaboration.

“We appreciate the efforts of Asian Islamic Fashion and Art in developing the creative economy sector, which is a key focus of the President. We affirm our readiness to collaborate to ensure that Asian Islamic Fashion and Art becomes a regular event,” said Minister of Creative Economy Riefky during the meeting, which took place at the Sapta Pesona Building, Jakarta, on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
Minister of Creative Economy Riefky emphasized the importance of maintaining a solid database to ensure the sustainability of future events. He also expressed his commitment to helping AIFA gain support to develop into a key pillar of the creative economy.

“We hope that event data, including transactions and databases, is well-documented for future reference. Additionally, we aim to assist AIFA in securing support and investment so it can grow into a significant pillar of Indonesia’s creative economy while enhancing cooperation with both local and international entrepreneurs,” added Minister of Creative Economy Riefky. He was accompanied by Director for Fashion at Ministry of Creative Economy, Romi Astuti, and Head of Marketing Development and Institutional Relations at Ministry of Creative Economy, Aulia Chlorodiany.
Meanwhile, Secretary-General of the National Council of KAHMI, Syamsul Qomar, welcomed the dialogue with Minister of Creative Economy, seeing it as an opportunity for strategic collaboration in advancing the creative economy, particularly in the fashion and art sectors.

“We hope that through this forum, we can strengthen cooperation not only with Indonesian entrepreneurs in the fashion and art industries but also with international business partners,” said Syamsul.
