Jakarta, 15 October 2025 – Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya attended the Paper Unfold 2025 forum, which serves as a platform for dialogue between industry players and policymakers in addressing the challenges of digital transformation. The Minister noted that this forum will strengthen digital literacy while expanding access to technological innovation within Indonesia’s national creative economy ecosystem.

“We see extraordinary enthusiasm from creative economy actors to grow through innovative approaches. Financial literacy and digitalization are key to expanding the reach of the creative industry across Indonesia, not only in major cities but also in the regions,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky while delivering his remarks at the event held at The Kasablanka Hall, Jakarta, on Wednesday, 15 October 2025.
The Minister also expressed his appreciation for the continued innovation demonstrated by creative economy practitioners amid global technological developments. To this end, the Ministry of Creative Economy continues to strengthen cooperation with various international partners, including countries with high investment potential.
“We will continue to encourage creativity and innovation to become the new engine of national economic growth, starting from the regions. For this reason, we apply the hexahelix approach, which brings together collaboration among government, industry, academia, communities, media, and financial institutions,” said Minister Teuku Riefky.

The Paper Unfold forum itself carries the theme Rooted in Legacy, Rising with Technology. One example of successful innovation in this sector is Paper, a digital B2B (Business-to-Business) invoicing and payment platform that is now trusted by more than 700,000 business partners.
“We hope this event will serve as a catalyst for cross-sector collaboration to encourage the adoption of innovative solutions, strengthen competitiveness, and open business opportunities at both national and global levels,” explained the Minister.
Paper Unfold 2025 also marked the launch of Paper’s new logo. Yosia Sugialam, Co-Founder and CEO of Paper, stated that since its establishment in 2017, Paper has issued more than 14 million digital invoices and processed transactions worth USD 3.7 billion.

“We became pioneers in B2B payments using credit cards and have now collaborated with national banks to introduce Indonesia’s first business credit card. This rebranding represents a new milestone in Paper’s journey of innovation,” said Yosia.
Meanwhile, Co-Founder and CPO of Paper, Jeremy Limman, added that the spirit of innovation lies at the core of the company’s rebranding.
“We remain rooted in our original values while continuing to move forward as a technology pioneer. Paper’s B2B transactions are now among the largest in Southeast Asia,” he said.

The event was attended by industry leaders, business associations, and creative economy actors from various subsectors. Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky was accompanied by Deputy for Digital Creativity and Technology Muhammad Neil El Himam and Director of ICT Services Abdul Malik, reflecting the government’s concrete support for accelerating digital innovation in the creative economy sector.
