Menteri Ekonomi Kreatif, Teuku Riefky Harsya, menghadiri pelaksanaan akad massal 26.000 Kredit Perumahan Rakyat (KPR) dengan Fasilitas Likuiditas Pembiayaan Perumahan (FLPP) di Cileungsi, Jawa Barat, Senin (29/09/2025).
The President highlighted the importance of housing development as a priority agenda and a driver of national economic growth.
“Housing is essential. Beyond meeting the basic needs of the people, especially low-income groups, the housing sector also drives economic growth and development. Therefore, we have set an ambitious target of 3 million homes, which we must pursue and achieve together,” stated President Prabowo Subianto at Pesona Kahuripan 10 Housing, Cileungsi, West Java.
The Minister of Creative Economy emphasized that this program helps low-income communities, including creative economy workers in the informal sector, to access decent and affordable housing. Subsidized housing is expected to improve quality of life while strengthening the creative economy ecosystem.

“The FLPP program provides opportunities for creative economy workers to own decent homes with affordable facilities. With secure housing, they can be more productive and continue contributing to national creative economy growth,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya.
The FLPP is a program by the People’s Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera) in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PKP), aimed at low-income communities. Benefits include a 1% down payment, 5% fixed interest rate, and tenors up to 20 years. This year, the allocation of FLPP-subsidized KPR, initially 220,000 units, was increased to 350,000 units—the largest increase since the program launched in 2010.
Minister of Public Works and Housing, Maruarar Sirait, highlighted the positive economic impact of this subsidy, particularly in creating employment and stimulating the economy.

“Building just one subsidized house can involve five workers. Constructing 350,000 homes means 1.75 million jobs. This creates an economic ecosystem ranging from food vendors, farmers, traders, to building supply stores. The housing sector drives millions of people and is a key engine of national economic growth,” said Minister Maruarar.
The mass signing was held in a hybrid format, with 200 low-income families (MBR) participating on-site, witnessed by the President, while 25,800 other signings were conducted online across 100 locations in 33 provinces.

During the event, President Prabowo symbolically handed house keys to 10 representatives of MBR from various professions, including pedicab drivers, online motorcycle taxi drivers, migrant workers, midwives, farmers, fishermen, and laborers, and engaged in dialogue regarding housing conditions, loan processes, and affordability.
The presence of the Ministry of Creative Economy at this event reflects support for government efforts to provide decent housing. This subsidized housing program is expected not only to meet basic needs but also to stimulate a broader economic chain, including creative economy workers who play a significant role in national development.
