Serang, 17 March, 2026 – Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency, Teuku Riefky Harsya, officially closed the Banten Creative Fest (BCF) Ramadan 2026 at Alun-Alun Barat, Serang City, on Tuesday (March 17). The event featured more than 80 local brands from the fashion and lifestyle subsectors, as well as over 50 culinary tenants, complemented by music performances and activities from creative communities.
Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya, together with Banten Governor Andra Sony, reviewed creative booths at Banten Creative Fest (BCF) Ramadan 2026 at Alun-Alun Barat, Serang City, Banten, Tuesday (March 17, 2026).
In his remarks, the Minister of Creative Economy expressed appreciation for the consistency of BCF as a platform for collaboration among creative communities and local business players. This initiative is considered important in strengthening the creative economy ecosystem so that it can serve as the new engine of growth.
“I highly appreciate the people of Banten, especially Serang City, for being able to present a national-scale event like this evening. This shows that the creativity of young people has great potential to continue growing,” said the Minister of Creative Economy.
The Minister also conveyed that the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, has designated Banten Province as one of the priority locations for creative economy development in the 2025–2029 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN), supported by Intellectual Property-based People’s Business Credit (KUR) financing amounting to IDR 10 trillion in 2026.

Prior to the closing ceremony, the Minister took time to visit the creative booths and engage directly with creative economy business players. He also invited all stakeholders to continue strengthening collaboration in developing the creative economy sector across various regions.
“We see many local brands emerging from the creativity of young people. I believe these works not only have the potential to grow at the national level, but also to penetrate the global market,” said the Minister of Creative Economy.
Meanwhile, Banten Governor Andra Soni stated that the presence of creative booths at BCF 2026 is a strategic step by the Banten Provincial Government to provide space for creative economy players to grow and contribute positively to regional economic development.
“This festival reflects the spirit and innovation of Banten’s youth. Their works are the driving force that will bring this region forward,” said Andra.

BCF is a creative economy event that brings together local product booths, culinary offerings, music entertainment, and community activities in one interactive space, especially packaged with a Ramadan atmosphere. Having been held for nine years, the festival serves as a platform for MSMEs and local brands to market their products, expand networks, and bring creative works closer to the public.
Accompanying the Minister at the event were Deputy for Cultural Creativity and Design Yuke Sri Rahayu, Special Staff to the Minister Renanda Bachtar, as well as echelon II officials of the Ministry. Also present were Banten Vice Governor Achmad Dimyati Natakusumah and Member of the House of Representatives (DPR RI) Rizki Aulia Rahman Natakusumah.
