Minister of Creative Economy Commends the Attorney General’s Office and the Lampung Provincial Government for Strengthening the Creative Economy through the MSME Festival

Jakarta, 12 December 2025 – Minister of Creative Economy / Head of the Creative Economy Agency Teuku Riefky Harsya officially opened the Festival and Launching of the Adhyaksa Partner MSMEs in Lampung. The Minister of Creative Economy expressed his appreciation to the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia and the Lampung Provincial Government for their efforts in strengthening the creative industry and MSMEs.

Menteri Ekonomi Kreatif, Teuku Riefky Harsya, membuka Festival dan Launching UMKM Mitra Adhyaksa yang digelar di Gedung Sesat Agung Bumi Sai Wawai, Lampung, Jumat (12/12/2025).

“As we all know, MSMEs are the backbone of Indonesia’s economy. Meanwhile, the creative economy sector has grown into a new engine of national economic growth, developing rapidly across various regions. The creative economy is born from creativity combined with innovation and technology, and rooted in culture. This is in line with President Prabowo’s Asta Cita, particularly the third point on creating quality jobs through entrepreneurship and creative industries,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky in his remarks at the event held at the Sesat Agung Bumi Sai Wawai Building, Lampung, on Friday, 12 December 2025.

Minister Teuku Riefky stated that the Festival and Launching of the Adhyaksa Partner MSMEs is not merely a celebration of creativity and entrepreneurship, but also a concrete step to strengthen the foundation of the national economy through the empowerment of MSMEs and the creative economy. Through the Adhyaksa Partner MSME Program, business actors gain access to regulatory guidance, simplified licensing processes, preventive legal assistance, and outreach that supports the creation of a safe and sustainable business climate.

This program is expected to enhance the confidence of creative economy players in running and developing their businesses. Minister Teuku Riefky emphasized that the role of the Attorney General’s Office in this program goes beyond law enforcement, serving instead as a strategic partner in providing business certainty and protection.

“With legal assistance in place, MSMEs and creative industries can focus on innovation, improving product quality, and expanding markets without the fear of legal issues that often become barriers to growth. The Ministry of Creative Economy is committed to strengthening this collaboration, because the creative economy can only thrive when its ecosystem is supported by strong legal certainty,” he explained.

The Adhyaksa Partner MSME Festival showcases a range of Lampung’s leading creative economy subsectors, from culinary products such as coffee and chips, crafts based on local craftsmanship, to fashion featuring traditional tapis woven fabrics. The event also serves as a curation platform to help local products move up the value chain through exhibitions, coaching clinics, talk shows, business matching sessions, and digital promotion areas.

Within one year of its establishment, the Ministry of Creative Economy has recorded performance achievements demonstrating tangible strengthening of the creative economy sector as a driver of national economic growth. As of the first semester of 2025, creative economy investment value had reached 66 percent of its target, contributing approximately 9 percent to total national investment realization. Meanwhile, creative economy export value as of October 2025 had reached nearly 100 percent of the annual target, contributing around 13 percent of total national non-oil and gas exports.

From an employment perspective, the creative economy sector also exceeded its target, reaching 107 percent as of October 2025, equivalent to nearly two million workers above the established target. In terms of contribution to Gross Domestic Product (GDP), the creative economy recorded more than IDR 1,500 trillion in 2024, or around 7 percent of national GDP. These achievements affirm that the creative economy is no longer merely a potential sector, but has become a real and sustainable economic contributor.
