Jakarta, May 25, 2026 – Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency, Teuku Riefky Harsya, stated that content creators are an important part of realizing the creative economy as the new engine of growth. Therefore, the Minister of Creative Economy is encouraging regional creative potential to develop into a national force capable of penetrating global markets.
Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, delivered remarks at the Folago All Stars event themed “Empowering The New Creative Economy” at the Indonesia Stock Exchange in Jakarta on Monday (25/5/2026).
“Through Folago All Stars, it is evident that content creators are part of the new engine of growth. The primary task of this ministry is to encourage local heroes to become national champions capable of going global. If our culture serves as the upstream, then creative products infused with innovation, technology, and creativity become the downstream. That is where the creative industry exists,” said the Minister of Creative Economy while attending the Folago All Stars event themed “Empowering The New Creative Economy” at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in Jakarta on Monday (25/5).
The Minister of Creative Economy also highlighted the acceleration of national creative economy digitalization through stronger collaboration among the government, industry, communities, and business actors. According to him, the event serves as a platform for strategic synergy to expand access to promotion, marketing, branding, and to enhance the competitiveness of MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) through the utilization of digital media, the entertainment industry, and the national creative economy ecosystem.

“The private sector has a major opportunity to embrace communities and indirectly become a bridge for MSME digitalization. The impact is not only beneficial for ecosystems and communities, but also provides positive contributions to the country,” added the Minister of Creative Economy.
