Menteri Ekonomi Kreatif, Teuku Riefky Harsya, menerima audiensi dari Asosiasi Konten Kreator Seluruh Indonesia (AKKSI), Jakarta, Jumat (26/09/2025).
The meeting, held at Autograph Tower on Friday, 26 September 2025, highlighted The Ministry of Creative Economy support for content creators in producing high-quality works. Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky stated that collaboration with AKKSI aims to broaden the reach of creative and educational content, noting that AKKSI has members spread across multiple regions, ensuring effective dissemination to target audiences.
“We need input from AKKSI regarding policies that can help develop the content creator sector, so we can collaborate on data strengthening. Suggestions from the association will guide legitimate regulations that accelerate policy implementation,” said Minister of Creative Economy Riefky.
The Minister of Creative Economy also highlighted the Ministry of Creative Economy priority as the new engine of national economic growth, focusing on job creation, entrepreneurship, and the development of the creative industry.

“AKKSI can develop a timeline covering short-, medium-, and long-term programs to unify and grow content creators across regions. This can be mapped into concrete collaborations aligned with Asta Ekraf programs such as Talenta Ekraf, Sinergi Ekraf, and Pasar Ekraf,” Minister of Creative Economy Riefky explained.
During the meeting, Deputy for Digital Creativity, Muhammad Neil El Himam, emphasized AKKSI’s empowerment in digital content development. He noted that collaboration with AKKSI offers an innovative pathway to achieve Ekraf’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
“We hope support from AKKSI will help us reach Ekraf’s KPIs, including employment absorption, creative economy GDP, exports, and investments. We also need data on the number of content creators per field, which can then be grouped into clusters linked to each creative economy subsector. Additionally, registered creators should educate the public through healthy and productive content,” said Deputy Neil.
Special Staff to the Minister for Strategic and Inter-Agency Issues, Rian Syaf, added that digital penetration in Indonesia is a strategic issue, motivating associations to drive digital transformation, unify individual content creators, and create socio-economic impact.
“We hope AKKSI will actively contribute concrete ideas that can be included in the Creative Economy Master Plan (Rindekraf), serving as a reference or keyword for content creators in each region,” Rian Syaf added.
Meanwhile, AKKSI Chairman Helmy Yahya shared updates on AKKSI, officially established on 10 January 2025, to unite and guide content creators through integrated communication, consultation, facilitation, and partnership platforms.

AKKSI Vice Chairman Indrawan Nugroho also affirmed the association’s commitments, which include legal guidance and protection, education and activities, contributions to economic growth for content creators, and bargaining positions with platforms. These efforts aim to empower the digital content ecosystem.
“We can start concrete collaboration through four roles or commitments from AKKSI, empowering ecosystem connectivity to bridge content creators with the government, stakeholders, and creative economy actors to boost economic contributions,” Indrawan Nugroho added.
