Jakarta, 23 February, 2026 – Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency Teuku Riefky Harsya discussed strengthening creative space infrastructure as the foundation for developing the regional creative economy ecosystem with the Creative Economy Forum of Banten (FEKRAF Banten). Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky emphasized the importance of the presence of creative spaces as a platform for the growth of communities and collaboration between creative actors and the government.
The Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, received an audience with the Creative Economy Forum of Banten (FEKRAF Banten) at the Ministry of Creative Economy Office, Jakarta, Monday (February 23, 2026).
“The creative economy largely grows from communities. Therefore, communities must continue to build closer ties with the government, as we share the same goals. We believe that as this continues to progress, it will benefit local governments through increased regional revenue (PAD), the creation of job opportunities, and the emergence of many positive activities from the creative economy,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya during an audience with the Creative Economy Forum of Banten (FEKRAF Banten) at the Ministry of Creative Economy Office, Jakarta, on Monday, February 23, 2026.
Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya further added that the potential of young people across various regions continues to grow in transforming creativity into a source of livelihood.
“We observe that in almost every region, young people possess extraordinary potential. It is no longer merely a hobby, but a way to position the creative economy as a new engine of regional economic growth, while also creating job opportunities for the younger generation. Banten is one of the priority provinces for creative economy development based on the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN),” he stated.
To strengthen the synchronization of central and regional policies, the Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency has submitted the Creative Economy Master Plan (Rindekraf) for the President’s signature. The document serves as a strategic guideline in aligning creative economy development programs at the national level.

“This serves as a directive for synchronization from the central to regional levels. We strongly support and appreciate collaborative efforts across sectors within the hexahelix framework to enhance creative economy infrastructure in the regions,” he added.
The Creative Economy Forum of Banten (FEKRAF Banten), as an independent platform for creative economy actors in Banten Province, conveyed its aspirations regarding strengthening the regional ecosystem. Chairman of FEKRAF Banten, M. Irfan, stated that this audience served as a momentum to present both the potential and challenges of creative economy development in the region.

“We have conveyed several requests to the government to obtain concrete support, both in terms of policy and facilities. In this regard, we seek special attention from the Ministry for the revitalization or development of a creative hub and representative events in Serang City,” he stated.
The audience was also attended by members of the FEKRAF Banten management, including Ovie Rambo, Nagarjuna, Faris NY, Asep Lopang, Febriansyah, and Intan Imelda.
Meanwhile, Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya was accompanied by Deputy for Strategic Development of the Creative Economy Cecep Rukendi and Director of Marketing System Development and Institutional Relations Radi Manggala.
