Jakarta, 6 April, 2026 – Minister of Creative Economy / Head of the Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf), Teuku Riefky Harsya, emphasized the importance of solidarity, integrity, and collaboration in advancing Indonesia’s creative economy. This was conveyed during a halalbihalal gathering with all officials and staff of the Ministry at Gedung Film Pesona Indonesia on Monday (April 6).

According to the Minister, halalbihalal is not merely a tradition, but also a moment for reflection on the achievements of the creative economy sector, which continues to strengthen as a new engine of Indonesia’s economic growth.
“Let us always uphold three main principles in our work: ensure that every policy delivers tangible impact for society and creative economy practitioners, strengthen collaboration as one solid team without barriers, and uphold integrity and professionalism as a form of honor in serving,” he stated.

Carrying the theme “Purify the Heart, Strengthen Creativity, Foster Togetherness,” the event was held in a simple yet meaningful manner, attended by leaders and staff across the Ministry. The occasion also served as a reminder that personal integrity is the foundation for producing impactful creative works.
“On behalf of President Prabowo Subianto, the leadership, and our families, I would like to wish everyone a Happy Eid al-Fitr. Let us make this moment a starting point to keep our hearts pure and nurture togetherness in every step of our service,” the Minister added.

The Minister also encouraged all personnel to take an active role as communicators in sharing positive developments in the creative economy with the public. A strong sense of ownership toward the institution, he noted, is key to maintaining public trust and institutional reputation.
Also present at the event was Habib Husein Jafar Al-Hadar, who delivered a sermon highlighting the importance of collaboration within the spirit of halalbihalal.

“The key to successful collaboration lies in halalbihalal: eliminating hatred and negative assumptions, and forgiving one another. When togetherness is strong, we become a stronger and more advanced nation, country, and ministry,” he said in his sermon.
The Minister was accompanied by senior officials, including the Ministry Secretary/Secretary General Dessy Ruhati, Deputy for Strategic Development Cecep Rukendi, Deputy for Cultural Creativity and Design Yuke Sri Rahayu, Deputy for Digital Creativity and Technology Muhammad Neil El Himam, Deputy for Media Creativity Agustini Rahayu, Advisor to Dharma Wanita Persatuan Adinda Yuanita, and other echelon II officials.
