Jakarta, 11 September 2025 – The Ministry of Creative Economy reaffirmed its commitment to position national media as strategic partners in developing Indonesia’s creative ecosystem. This was conveyed by Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya during Kompas TV’s 14th anniversary celebration, themed "Harmones14," in Jakarta on Thursday, 11 September 2025.

“We hope Kompas continues to be a strategic partner of the government in advancing the creative economy. Through accurate, inspiring, and balanced reporting, media can help creative economy players build optimism while opening new opportunities for collaboration,” said Minister of Creative Economy Riefky.
In celebrating its anniversary, Kompas highlighted the theme “Harmones14,” emphasizing the importance of maintaining national harmony. The Minister of Creative Economy noted that this theme aligns with the vision of creative economy development, which seeks to create sustainable growth based on collaboration and the collective spirit of all creative actors in Indonesia.
“Kompas TV has become an important part of the nation’s journey. The media is not only an information provider but also a driver of social harmony and inspiration for society. Its presence strengthens the national creative ecosystem,” stated Minister of Creative Economy Riefky.
The Minister of Creative Economy emphasized the crucial role of media in expanding platforms for creative expression. With media support, creative works can reach wider audiences, foster innovation, and strengthen the competitiveness of Indonesian creative products on the global stage.
The Ministry of Creative Economy also reaffirmed its commitment to continue collaborating with national media, including Kompas, to ensure that the creative economy serves as a new engine of national economic growth starting from local communities. Cross-sector synergy is key to accelerating the development of creative subsectors from central to regional areas.

During the event, the Minister of Creative Economy also presented appreciation awards to Mayors and Regents in the categories of Innovation-Conscious Regions in Creative Economy and Regions Supporting MSME Development and Local Resource Potential.
Recipients of the Innovation-Conscious Regions in Creative Economy Award: Bogor City, Blora Regency, Mentawai Islands Regency, Subang Regency, Surabaya City, and Wonosobo Regency.
Recipients of the Regions Supporting MSME Development and Local Resource Potential Award: Badung Regency, South Bangka Regency, Batang Regency, Bulungan Regency, Semarang City, and Situbondo Regency.
The Minister of Creative Economy was accompanied by Special Staff for Communication, Media, and Public Services Renada Bachtar, as well as Acting Head of Bureau of Communication Kiagoos Irvan Faisal.
