Menteri Ekonomi Kreatif, Teuku Riefky Harsya, menerima audiensi dengan Prambors Radio, Jakarta, Kamis (02/10/2025).
Minister of Creative Economy Riefky emphasized that the ministry’s focus is on accelerating creative economy actors to enable broader growth.
“The spirit of the Ministry of Creative Economy is to focus on accelerating creative economy practitioners, not just incubating them. We strengthen access so they can scale up, promote their work, and expand their networks. You could say 80 percent of the ministry’s energy is focused on acceleration,” said Minister of Creative Economy Riefky during the meeting at the Ministry of Creative Economy, Jakarta, on Thursday, 2 October 2025.
He further explained that Indonesian music has great potential to reach global markets.
“We want Indonesian music to go global. The upstream is ready, the downstream is already established. It just needs orchestration to be stronger. The principle is to encourage collaboration with the radio industry, which is also transforming in the digital era,” added Minister of Creative Economy Riefky.

“Our program is designed to make the creative economy a new engine of growth, starting from the regions. When regions are strong, they automatically elevate the ecosystem nationally,” she explained.
Prambors Founder Malik Sjafei reaffirmed his commitment to supporting Indonesian music.
“Our core industry is music, and we give significant airtime to Indonesian songs. This country is rich in arts with unique genres and characteristics that can differentiate us on the global stage,” he said.
Similarly, Vice President and Prambors broadcaster Ilham Ramdana highlighted the growing potential of Indonesian music.
“Indonesia is vast, with many musicians from various regions. After the koplo trend, timuran music is also growing rapidly. We want to promote Indonesian music globally so it can stand alongside international genres—perhaps known as the ‘Indonesian Wave,’ ‘Indonesian Beat,’ or ‘Indonesian Pop,’” he stated.
