Jakarta, April 21, 2025 – Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya held a meeting with detikcom as a strategic step to strengthen collaboration between the government and the creative industry. The meeting also discussed potential cooperation in developing the creative economy.

“We would like to thank detikcom for the discussion towards a strategic collaboration. The Ministry of Creative Economy recognizes that detikcom plays an important role in developing Indonesia’s creative industry, particularly in producing high-quality and innovative media content,” said Minister Teuku Riefky during the meeting, which took place at the Transmedia Building in Jakarta on Monday, April 21, 2025.
Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky stated that this meeting opens up significant opportunities to develop programs that enhance creativity and innovation in Indonesia. The ultimate goal, he added, is to improve competitiveness and foster the growth of the creative economy.
“We can strengthen the creative economy ecosystem, create better job opportunities, and amplify the impact of quality digital content,” said Minister Teuku Riefky.
During the meeting, Minister Teuku Riefky also outlined several creative economy programs to be promoted, including digital content development, festivals, and training programs to enhance community skills and creativity, as well as online and offline marketing of local products. These initiatives aim to increase public awareness and participation in developing the creative economy, create quality job opportunities, and expand the reach and quality of content through digital platforms.
“There is much we can collaborate on, such as creating high-quality digital content, organizing festivals, providing training to build community capacity, and supporting effective marketing of local products,” Minister Teuku Riefky added.

Responding to this, Alfito Deannova Ginting, Content Director and Editor-in-Chief of detikcom, expressed his confidence that this hexahelix collaboration between the government and media can create strong synergy in developing the creative economy. Alfito also believes that this partnership has the potential to create new opportunities for growth and development of Indonesia’s creative industry and deliver platforms made by local talent.
