Jakarta, 12 November 2025 – The Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency is exploring a strategic collaboration with creative digital agency PT. Imaji Masa Depan (Imaginexis) to strengthen digital transformation and the development of tech-savvy creative talent. This support is manifested through the Ministry’s positive response toward the Indonesia Digital Outlook 2026 initiative titled DIGINEX conXperience, scheduled for September next year, which serves as an important platform to accelerate Indonesia’s digital creative economy ecosystem.
Menteri Ekonomi Kreatif, Teuku Riefky Harsya, menerima audiensi dari Imaginexis di Kantor Kementerian Ekraf, Jakarta, Rabu (12/11/2025).
“The Ministry of Creative Economy fully supports the DIGINEX conXperience event, which has become an important agenda for many people to adapt to digital technology and integrate it with the digital ecosystem. The concept presented has been well-prepared in advance, including its road-to series in December 2025, which can be further amplified and promoted through collaboration with digital influencers,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya during a meeting with Imaginexis at the Ministry’s Office in Jakarta, Wednesday, 12 November 2025.
The Minister also emphasized the Ministry’s priority on digital transformation and strengthening the creative ecosystem through various programs, including data enhancement, commercialization of Intellectual Property (IP), and digital talent development. He further encouraged Imaginexis to collaborate with the Ministry of Informatics and Digital (Komdigi), which shares similar concerns in enhancing the competitiveness of the digital creative industry.

“This way, the event can be implemented effectively and achieve collective digital transformation. Komdigi has targets for the National Digital Transformation Index (ITDN) and has prepared the White Paper of the National Artificial Intelligence Roadmap and the Draft of AI Ethics Guidelines. Meanwhile, the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of the Ministry of Creative Economy focus more on investment realization, export value, employment, and GDP contribution,” he explained.
DIGINEX is a series of initiatives led by Imaginexis, consisting of three main programs: Indonesia Digital Outlook 2026, the DIGINEX conXperience conference, and a Digital Expo. The event is planned to take place on 9–10 September 2026 at JS Luwansa Hotel, featuring the Minister of Creative Economy as a keynote speaker and Deputy Minister Irene Umar as a panel discussion speaker.

DIGINEX can also be connected to the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the National Cyber and Encryption Agency (BSSN) to strengthen an IT-based creative economy ecosystem, especially in digitalization,” said Muhammad Neil El Himam, Deputy for Digital Creativity and Technology.
The discussion continued by emphasizing the importance of digitalization as a driver of economic growth and job creation, particularly for young people. Rian Syaf, Special Staff to the Minister for Strategic and Inter-Institutional Affairs, also noted that digitalization cannot be separated from the creative economy, with innovation serving as the key principle behind it.

This is Indonesia’s strength, as creativity and innovation continue to grow as both social capital and a competitive digital cultural asset,” added Rian Syaf.
Imaginexis Co-Founder Hastjarjo Boedi Wibowo expressed enthusiasm toward the Ministry’s insights, which align with the company’s vision to focus on innovation and digital transformation that advances Indonesia’s technology ecosystem through technology-based creative events that aim to build event-related Intellectual Property (IP) and support Indonesian startups.
