Jakarta, February 19, 2025 – Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency Teuku Riefky Harsya welcomed an audience from PT Sinergi Corpora Utama (Synco Group). During the meeting, Minister of Creative Economy Riefky also witnessed the signing of a partnership agreement between Goldfinch, Synco Group, and Goshen Group for the launch of Goldfinch Indonesia.

"The partnership between Goldfinch, Synco, and Goshen Group is a testament to the government's commitment to fostering a dynamic creative economy in Indonesia," said Minister of Creative Economy Riefky.
Goldfinch, a UK-based company, is a leading player in developing global entertainment and media ecosystems. This strategic partnership marks a significant step into the Southeast Asian market. Meanwhile, Synco Group and Goshen Group, as domestic investors, are expected to play an active role in Indonesia’s creative economy industry.
"This collaboration will contribute to the development of Special Economic Zones as hubs for the creative industry," added Minister of Creative Economy Riefky.

Meanwhile, Phil McKenzie, Co-Founder of Goldfinch, expressed enthusiasm about the meeting and the potential for collaboration with the Ministry of Creative Economy. He highlighted several key areas of cooperation that could be explored, particularly in funding, investment, talent development, and intellectual property (IP) creation to strengthen Indonesia’s position in the Southeast Asian market.
"This meeting was highly engaging and holds great potential for collaboration with the Ministry of Creative Economy," said Phil McKenzie.

At the same event, Rafael Utomo, Managing Director of Goldfinch Indonesia, stated that the partnership aims to foster a thriving creative ecosystem in Indonesia. This ecosystem is expected to support local talent while attracting international partnerships, ultimately maximizing Indonesia's creative potential.
