“Thanks to the support from all parties, including strong collaboration with media outlets such as Rakyat Merdeka, we have successfully achieved the Ministry’s key performance indicators for the first semester. Creative economy exports have reached 49 percent, while investment has achieved 66 percent of the 2025 target. The Ministry is also preparing strategic programs such as promoting Indonesian brands globally and organizing international conferences, including the World Conference on Creative Economy (WCCE) 2026,” said the Minister during the “NGEGAS” podcast recording at Graha Pena Press Building, 8th Floor, Jakarta, Tuesday, 11 November 2025.
In addition to the four Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to exports, investment, employment, and GDP contribution, the Minister also explained several initiatives supporting the priority programs of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto. This includes strengthening coordination and policy harmonization in the creative economy sector to encourage inter-ministerial collaboration that opens high-quality job opportunities for digital-native youth and supports the growth of the middle class.

“The Ministry of Creative Economy has also been assigned to support several presidential priority programs. For example, through the Merah Putih Village/Urban Cooperative program, we collaborate with the Ministry of Cooperatives to train young people to become affiliates who market creative products. We also work with the Ministry of Social Affairs on the Sekolah Rakyat Program, where participants receive basic training in the digital creative economy,” he added.
Echoing this, Kiki Iswara, President Director of Rakyat Merdeka, emphasized that the media consistently contributes to public education and awareness regarding the growth of the creative economy and industries that support the President’s Asta Cita agenda.
“Rakyat Merdeka has always reported the activities of the Creative Economy Ministry accurately and supports its programs, which align with the Asta Cita national goals. We hope to deepen collaboration by organizing joint training and public education programs, enabling lower-income communities to better understand the potential of the creative economy to improve their livelihoods,” said Kiki Iswara.
