Pacitan, July 4, 2025 – Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, held a Community Gathering for Creative Economy Talents (Teko Teh) in Pacitan, East Java, on Tuesday, July 4, 2025. The event served as a direct dialogue platform between the government and local creative economy players to strengthen the sector as a driver of regional economic growth.

The Minister of Creative Economy stated that his presence, along with the Ministry’s senior officials, was in line with the directive of President Prabowo Subianto to make the creative economy a new engine of national economic growth starting from the regions, as well as to strengthen the hexahelix collaboration between the central government, regional administrations, and creative economy players in Pacitan.
“We are here to encourage the creative economy to become a new engine of growth in Pacitan through synergy between the regional government and creative players,” said the Minister when opening the dialogue with creative economy practitioners.

Pacitan Regency is currently making progress in the creative economy sector, including the initiative by the Pacitan Regional Government to inaugurate Galeri Payu as a center for promoting flagship products such as batik, bamboo crafts, natural stone, and regional souvenirs.
Pacitan Regent Indrata Nur Bayuaji, who was also present, stated that the event was a follow-up to a meeting held at the Ministry of Creative Economy in Jakarta on May 26, 2025. He expressed that the Ministry’s presence in Pacitan provided an opportunity to hear aspirations directly from various creative economy subsectors in the region.

“We can directly hear from all creative elements in Pacitan, from film, music, fashion, applications, and more. Although we are considered a small regency, we believe Pacitan can compete, especially with the presence of a dedicated creative economy office,” he said optimistically.
One of the creative economy talents present from the application subsector, Director of Sentana Teknologi Muhammad Ariadi, stated that the Teko Teh Ekraf event was highly meaningful for the development of creative talents in Pacitan Regency, especially in finding solutions to existing challenges.

“Our hope after this event is the creation of regulations or programs that can significantly support creative talents and practitioners in Pacitan so they can grow and remain competitive in today’s global economy,” he explained.
