Minister of Creative Economy Holds Informal Dialogue with Solo Creative Economy Practitioners, Brings Hexahelix Collaboration Strategy

Solo, 3 January 2026 – The Minister of Creative Economy / Head of the Creative Economy Agency, Teuku Riefky Harsya, held an informal dialogue with creative economy practitioners at Mas Don Art Center, Solo, Central Java. Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya expressed his confidence that creative economy practitioners in Solo are already empowered, yet require an acceleration boost through collaboration.

Menteri Ekraf Teuku Riefky meyakini pegiat ekraf di Solo sudah berdaya tetapi perlu suntikan akselerasi melalui kolaborasi.The Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, presented the hexahelix collaboration strategy during an informal dialogue with creative economy practitioners at Mas Don Art Center, Solo, Central Java, Saturday (3/1/2026).

“We are ready to assist and facilitate creative economy practitioners across the City of Solo so they can continue to grow and advance to the national level, and even reach the global stage. This, of course, requires hexahelix collaboration between the government, communities, academia, business industries, media, and financial institutions that are ready to identify competitive creative economy practitioners,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya on Saturday, 3 January 2025.

Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya also expressed appreciation to Mayor of Solo Respati Achmad Ardianto, who was present in person at the informal dialogue. During the discussion, the Minister gathered aspirations and feedback from creative economy practitioners in Solo across various subsectors, including film, performing arts, music, and others.

“The Ministry of Creative Economy has four key performance indicators, namely the increase of qualified human resources, exports, investment realization, and contribution to Creative Economy GDP. I believe that most creative economy practitioners from Solo are already empowered, therefore acceleration is needed through joint curation with communities and the regional government to support the commercialization of Intellectual Property (IP),” stated Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya.

The City of Solo is currently developing the Se.daya.di.nusantara program, which signifies an initiative capable of embracing the entire wealth of Indonesian history, arts, culture, and traditions. The 2026–2030 period is a crucial momentum for the Se.daya.di.nusantara platform to progress toward Indonesia Emas 2045 through creativity and innovation.

“We want to further develop the Se.daya.di.nusantara platform so that the Surakarta administration has a consistent common thread that must be upheld, even amid future leadership transitions,” said Mayor of Solo Respati Ardianto.

Also present at the informal dialogue were art gallery owner and cultural figure of Solo Sardono W. Kusumo; film actor Erick Estrada; Director of Solo International Performing Arts (SIPA) Irawati Kusumorasri; puppeteer Amar Pradopo; Monimonki Production Yudhatama; Bakar Production Agung Sariyanto; Rumah Atsiri Paulus Mintaraga, along with representatives of other creative economy practitioners and officials of the Solo City Government.
