Jakarta, 31 January 2026 – Minister of Creative Economy / Head of the Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf), Teuku Riefky Harsya, expressed his appreciation for The Jakarta Toys and Comic Fair 2026, which is once again being held for the 21st time. Taking place at Kartika Expo Center, Jakarta, on 31 January–1 February 2026, the event—organized by SACCA Production in collaboration with Provaliant—has become an annual bazaar that continues to strengthen the national creative economy ecosystem, particularly within the collectible toys and comics subsectors.
Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, visited the local IP booths at The Jakarta Toys and Comic Fair 2026 at Kartika Expo Center, Jakarta, on Saturday (31/1/2026).
“The Jakarta Toys and Comic Fair has become a strategic showcase for creators and designers, with its regular organization providing certainty for the creative community. I commend SACCA Production for its consistency over the past 21 years in fostering collaboration and driving the growth of Indonesia’s toys and comics industry,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky.
The Jakarta Toys & Comics Fair (Toys Fair) is an annual national-scale exhibition and bazaar themed “Toys, Comics and Collectibles” and forms part of the Jakarta City Annual Agenda. The event brings together collectors, creators, and enthusiasts, while also serving as a platform for the launch of new products and prototypes from both local and international producers. In its 2025 edition, Toys Fair successfully attracted 19,812 visitors.
On that occasion, the Minister of Creative Economy expressed his hope to collaborate with SACCA Production and Provaliant in developing local intellectual property (IP) so that it can compete at both national and global levels.
“Today is the era of the IP business and IP derivatives. Creative works do not stop at toy or comic designs, but can evolve into films, animation, and even games. Therefore, ecosystem support—from both the government and private sector partners such as Provaliant—is crucial, so that creators can focus on producing works, while the aspects of development and commercialization are managed collaboratively,” said the Minister of Creative Economy.

Founder & CEO of SACCA Production as well as Promoter of The Jakarta Toys & Comics Fair, Riza Satyagraha, emphasized that the consistency of the event’s organization for more than two decades serves as strong evidence of the robustness of the ecosystem and the enthusiasm of creative industry players and communities.
“This marks the 21st year of the Jakarta Toys & Comics Fair since it was first held in 2005. Although the event was postponed for one year during the pandemic, we are grateful that it has been able to continue and remain a meeting point for creative industry players, collector communities, as well as local and international brands—so that local creativity can compete while simultaneously driving the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in the fashion sector and the creative industries,” said Riza.
Meanwhile, Owner of Provaliant Group, Chandra Sugiono, conveyed his commitment to supporting the strengthening of the local IP ecosystem. He stated that Provaliant Group is present as a strategic partner in the development and monetization of creative IP. For the past 15 years, Provaliant Group has accumulated experience in managing and monetizing international IP through various schemes, ranging from merchandise and retail activations to collaborations and digital initiatives.
