Jakarta, January 24, 2025 – Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency Teuku Riefky Harsya inaugurated special staff and officials at the Ministry of Creative Economy. Minister of Creative Economy Riefky emphasized that his team must work with integrity, responsibility, and sincerity.
The inauguration took place at The Hermitage Hotel Jakarta on Friday, January 24, 2025. Minister of Creative Economy Riefky stated that the positions held must be carried out with full responsibility, ensuring that all policies are in the best interest of the public and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
“I want to emphasize that this is a great mandate from the state, leadership, and society, which has high expectations for the progress of the ecosystem and sub-sectors of the creative economy,” said Minister of Creative Economy Riefky in his speech.
Accompanied by Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene Umar, Minister of Creative Economy Riefky also reminded the newly appointed officials of their strategic role in fostering national independence and contributing to the creation of quality jobs through the development of the creative economy sector. This inauguration marks the third phase of structural appointments, with one more phase remaining to complete the ministry's organizational structure and enable them to carry out their duties effectively.
“I want to stress that the spirit of public service and the commitment to serve is the best dedication we must uphold. We must ensure that the policies we formulate can be effectively implemented with efficiency and accountability, directly benefiting society and ultimately leading to their well-being,” said Minister of Creative Economy Riefky.
“In performing our duties, we must uphold strong integrity in line with the mandate of Asta Cita to establish the creative economy as the new engine of national economic growth. We need solid and integrated collaboration from us—the Minister and Deputy Minister—down to the Secretariat, Deputy Offices, and Directorates, ensuring that we work with sincerity and dedication,” added Minister of Creative Economy Riefky.
