Jakarta, 18 December 2025 – The international concert “HYDE [INSIDE] Live World Tour in Jakarta 2025” serves as a strategic momentum to promote Indonesia’s creative economy on the global stage. Deputy Minister of Creative Economy, Irene Umar, emphasized that such international events are not only entertaining but also provide a platform for local creators and Indonesian cultural diplomacy.
Wakil Menteri Ekonomi Kreatif, Irene Umar, menerima audiensi dari promotor Mataloka Live dan Sound Rhythm, Jakarta, Kamis (18/09/2025).
“International concerts like HYDE can showcase Indonesia’s creative economy subsectors, from music, fashion, and arts to creative technology. Beyond that, concerts act as cultural diplomacy connecting the diaspora and global communities with the works of Indonesian talent. With consistency, Indonesia has the potential to become a hub for international music concerts in Southeast Asia,” said Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene during an audience with promoters Mataloka Live and Sound Rhythm at Autograph Tower, Jakarta, Thursday, 18 September 2025.
Mataloka Live, based in Jakarta, focuses on cross-cultural collaborations by bringing global artists to Indonesia and Southeast Asia. Together with Sound Rhythm—a promoter active since 2002 that has previously hosted Ed Sheeran, One Direction, and Celine Dion—the HYDE concert represents a key moment to strengthen Indonesia’s position as a prime destination for international concerts in the region.

“We encourage these international concerts not only to feature music but also to involve local fashion brands, graffiti artists, and utilize gaming and augmented reality technology. In this way, concerts can showcase Indonesian creativity on an international stage,” emphasized the Deputy Minister of Creative Economy.
HYDE [INSIDE] Commissioner Monica Suteja welcomed the guidance from the Ministry of Creative Economy.
“For us, Indonesia is not just an important market but also a strategic partner in delivering international concerts that resonate with local identity. Support from the Ministry of Creative Economy is expected to enhance the involvement of local brands and creators, whether through fashion, arts, or technology activations that enrich audience experiences. This collaboration aims to strengthen Indonesia’s position as a premier destination for global concerts,” said Monica.
