“The target of Golden Indonesia 2045 will be achieved if we carry out a comprehensive transformation in three main aspects: social, economic, and governance. This transformation is key to improving the quality of human resources and driving inclusive and sustainable economic growth. For economic transformation, the government will focus on natural resource downstreaming, green economy, and the development of a technology- and innovation-based economy. This underscores that the digital economy and creative economy will be the main drivers of future growth,” he explained.
Minister Teuku Riefky also underlined that the growth and potential of the creative economy depend on how much space the government provides for imagination, trust in young talents, and turning ideas from mere dreams into solutions that generate creative works with added value. Therefore, he continued, economic growth targets can be achieved.
“We are optimistic that the economic growth target of 8% can be achieved if we maximize all efforts, particularly through sustainable innovation based on the creative economy. Indonesia needs more young generations involved as technology engineers, designers, programmers, filmmakers, creative entrepreneurs, content creators, and other creative economy talents who will create job opportunities and strengthen the nation’s culture. Creative talents are the key to building an inclusive and sustainable economic development that positively impacts the national economy,” said Minister Teuku Riefky.

Acting Head of the Higher Education Service Institution (LLDIKTI) Region III Tri Munanto, who also attended the ceremony, conveyed that fresh graduates are often referred to as agents of change since universities continuously produce both challenges and innovations. Strategic policies highlight the importance of synergy between higher education institutions and businesses to accelerate digital transformation and build an inclusive, sustainable, and competitive creative economy ecosystem.
“Today, we gather to celebrate the academic achievements of graduates who have demonstrated commitment through the research tasks they have undertaken. Starting tomorrow, you become lifelong learners, not returning to the classroom, but learning and teaching in society, workplaces, industries, and communities. Fresh graduates must be prepared and resilient in facing changes, never giving up. Hopefully, you can become leaders like the Minister of Creative Economy,” said Tri Munanto.
