Jakarta, 15 June 2026 – The Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency has collaborated with Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) and Adobe through the ECHOES X GENSi program to raise awareness of the creative economy while strengthening young digital talent, particularly among students and Indonesia's younger generation.
Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, delivered remarks and officially launched the ECHOES (Ekraf Creates Harmony on Education Sector) X GENSi 2026 program at the Indosat Marvelous Xperience Center in Jakarta on Monday (15/6/2026).
ECHOES (Ekraf Creates Harmony on Education Sector) is a Ministry of Creative Economy initiative designed to introduce the creative economy ecosystem and strengthen the capabilities of students and university students. Meanwhile, GENSi (Generasi Terkoneksi) is Indosat's youth empowerment platform that enables young people to leverage digital opportunities and technology to create meaningful impact.
"We appreciate the initiative taken by Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison and Adobe in fostering collaboration among the government, technology industry, educational institutions, media, and creator communities to accelerate the development of globally competitive digital creative talent," said the Minister during the program launch at the Indosat Marvelous Xperience Center in Jakarta on Monday (15/6).
The Minister noted that Indonesia has significantly expanded digital access over the past decade. Today's challenge, he said, is no longer merely providing access to technology, but rather building creative capabilities and empowering young people to create added value in the digital era.
"Indonesia's young people possess extraordinary creativity. In line with President Prabowo's Asta Cita, the creative economy has become one of the country's new engines of growth. Through this collaboration, we aim to equip the younger generation with creative skills and AI literacy so they can produce value-added works, create business opportunities, and compete on the global stage," the Minister added.

The collaboration also opens opportunities for synergy with the Ministry's three flagship programs in 2027: Creative Village Activation, Creative Hub Activation, and Creative by Indonesia. These initiatives aim to encourage local heroes to go national and national champions to go global. With support from Indosat and Adobe, ECHOES will serve as one of the channels for introducing creative tools and AI-based learning to young Indonesians.
President Director and Chief Executive Officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Vikram Sinha, stated that Indonesia is rich in talent and creativity.
"What many young people need today is access to the right tools, skills, and opportunities to turn their ideas into reality. By combining the power of AI, creativity, and collaboration, we aim to help the next generation of creators unlock their full potential and create meaningful impact for themselves and their communities," he said.

Following the success of equipping more than 10,000 young Indonesians through digital literacy and creative learning programs, GENSi now aims to reach 15,000 young people across Indonesia this year. Adobe is supporting the initiative by providing technology, training, monetization opportunities, premium access to Adobe Express, and Adobe Digital Academy learning materials translated into Bahasa Indonesia.
President of Adobe for Japan and Asia Pacific (JAPAC), Ben Goodman, believes that Indonesia has a large youth population, a strong creative culture, and a strategic position in the advancement of technology and AI. According to him, the partnership between Adobe, Indosat, and the Ministry of Creative Economy seeks to ensure that Indonesia remains at the forefront of the global creative economy.
"This partnership aims to bring the creative economy to life for all Indonesians by empowering creators to thrive at a greater scale, helping them transform ideas into monetizable businesses, and building a better future economy for themselves, their families, and Indonesian society as a whole," said Ben Goodman.
