Jakarta, 9 October 2025 – Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya officially launched Ekraf Hub, a digital platform designed to serve as a collaborative home for Indonesia’s 26.47 million creative industry players. The platform aims to accelerate the growth of an industry that contributes Rp1,532 trillion to the national GDP.
Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, delivered remarks at the launching of Ekraf Hub at CGV, Grand Indonesia, Jakarta, on Thursday (October 9, 2025).
“Ekraf Hub is more than just a database; it serves as a collaborative space where creators can connect with potential buyers. It also provides access to ministry programs related to training and other development opportunities. We hope Ekraf Hub becomes a platform that truly supports creative workers across Indonesia,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky during a press conference following the grand launch, attended by 150 creative practitioners at CGV Grand Indonesia, Thursday, 9 October 2025.
Ekraf Hub is expected to open new opportunities, accelerating national creative industry growth. As a networking portal, it enables creators to collaborate, produce innovative works, and boost industry productivity, while also optimizing the digital space as infrastructure for creative economic development.
“As the Ministry of Creative Economy, our role is not only to incubate but also to accelerate the development of creative products, including their intellectual property. Our hope is to help bring these works onto the international stage,” said Reslyana Dwitasari, Head of the Data and Information Center of the ministry.

In addition to serving as a networking and collaboration platform, Ekraf Hub also functions as a showcase for creative products, connecting creators with potential partners, and offering centralized access to information and opportunities to participate in national and international creative programs—ranging from training and incubation to exhibitions.
According to data from Statistics Indonesia (BPS), Customs, and the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) in 2024, the creative economy contributed Rp1,532 trillion to GDP and employed 26.47 million workers. Meanwhile, creative industry export value reached USD 25.10 billion with total investment of Rp138.4 trillion.
These figures are targeted to continue increasing through 2029, with expected performance indicators including 8.37% contribution to national GDP, 27 million workers employed in the creative sector, 5.96% export growth, and 8.08% investment growth.
“As a YouTuber and creative worker, I feel that the idea of creating Ekraf Hub is brilliant. It is great news especially for creative workers in the regions as it opens opportunities for them to grow and gain visibility,” said Deryansha, YouTuber from Kasisolusi.
