Jakarta, 29 January, 2026 — Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency Teuku Riefky Harsya opened the Garis Poetih Raya Festival 2026 at City Hall, Pondok Indah Mall (PIM) 3, Jakarta. Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky stated that the festival serves to strengthen the national fashion subsector through a collaborative platform ahead of the month of Ramadan and the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya delivered remarks at the Garis Poetih Raya Festival 2026 held at City Hall, Pondok Indah Mall (PIM) 3, Jakarta, on Thursday (January 29, 2026).
“The Garis Poetih Raya Festival 2026, initiated by designer Ivan Gunawan, not only serves as a platform to appreciate the creative works of designers, but also plays a role in expanding market access for national fashion industry players, particularly in the lead-up to the Eid al-Fitr momentum,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky while delivering his remarks at the event held on Thursday, January 29, 2026.
Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky emphasized that the fashion subsector is one of the main contributors to Indonesia’s creative economy. Among other creative economy subsectors, fashion plays a significant role in value creation and in strengthening exports of the creative industries.

As a form of concrete support, the Ministry of Creative Economy presented the EKRAF Booth as part of the Garis Poetih Raya Festival 2026 series. The booth serves as a promotional showcase for fostered fashion brands as well as a platform for direct interaction between industry players and festival visitors.
The EKRAF Booth features the participation of fashion brands fostered by the Ministry of Creative Economy, including Aruna Creative and Tarasari Indonesia, which uphold the values of sustainability, preservation of Nusantara traditional textiles, and the strengthening of women’s roles within the fashion industry.
Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky also emphasized the importance of hexahelix collaboration among the government, industry, academia, communities, and media to drive Indonesian fashion as the new engine of growth with strong competitiveness in both domestic and global markets.
As the third edition since it was first held in 2023 and 2025, the Garis Poetih Raya Festival 2026, taking place from January 29–31, 2026, underscores the sustainability of this platform with the Ministry of Creative Economy’s consistent support for strengthening the national fashion subsector.
