Our presence here is part of ensuring that Intellectual Property (IP) and creative assets are connected to the readiness of increasingly competitive creative talents. Let us elevate Indonesia’s creative economy, starting from Batu City,” the Minister added.

Produk Lokal Fest #7 was held with the theme “Egalitarian,” symbolizing togetherness, mutual support, and shared responsibility in advancing the nation through community-driven creative initiatives. Beyond music performances, the event also featured exhibitions of all 17 creative economy subsectors, a local food festival, gastronomy area, community meet-ups, the launch of Batu Total Independent’s (BTI) second compilation album, and various other creative showcases.

Mayor of Batu City, Nurochman, affirmed the city's commitment to strengthening its creative economy ecosystem.

“Batu City is committed to developing our creative ecosystem through MSME support, digital business incubation, sustainable cultural festivals, and the development of thematic tourism destinations based on local wisdom and green technology. We are ready to support national events held in Batu City by showcasing the potential of our creative youth. Produk Lokal Fest #7 reflects the spirit of creativity and collaboration,” he said.

Produk Lokal Fest #7 provides a space for young creators in music, culinary arts, and digital art to express themselves. They show that creativity is more than entertainment—it is a new economic force supporting the livelihoods of people in Batu City and beyond,” Nurochman added.

ICCN 2025 carries the theme “Nusantaraya,” reflecting a nationwide network of creative cities that collaborate, learn from one another, and grow together toward a sustainable creative future. The festival highlights innovation across Batu City and Greater Malang—creativity that holds the potential to be showcased across Indonesia and even globally, becoming a source of pride and motivation for regional development.
