Jakarta, 24 September 2025 — Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya received an audience from the organizers of Synchronize Festival (Synchronize Fest), Indonesia’s largest multi-genre music festival. The meeting served as an introduction and discussion of strategic collaboration opportunities between the Ministry of Creative Economy and the festival.

“I appreciate the hard work and dedication of Synchronize. I understand the challenges faced. Their spirit and commitment deserve recognition,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky during the audience at the Ministry of Creative Economy office, Jakarta, on Wednesday, 24 September 2025.
Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky added that the Ministry of Creative Economy is ready to broaden collaboration by incorporating Synchronize Fest into the celebration of National Creative Economy Day, which is held every 24 October.
“This festival can be part of the National Creative Economy Day series, and for the 2026 celebration, we are open to deeper collaboration opportunities,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky.

In response, Festival Director David Karto explained that the audience aimed to introduce the festival’s vision, mission, and development as an iconic platform in Indonesia’s music scene.
“We want to socialize our activities and explain what Synchronize is all about. We aim to share the festival’s journey, event concepts, and its contribution to celebrating the diversity of live music in Indonesia,” he said. David added that for the festival’s 10th anniversary in 2025, Synchronize Fest collaborated with ruangrupa, a contemporary art collective celebrating 25 years of creative work this year.

This collaboration is expected to strengthen Indonesia’s music ecosystem while supporting the music subsector as one of the pillars of national creative economy growth.
The Synchronize team attending included A&R Director David Tarigan, Head of Sales & Marketing Sponsorship Alsa, and Head of Program Abdul. From the Ministry of Creative Economy, attendees included Director of Music Mohammad Amin and Acting Head of Bureau of Communication Kiagoos Irvan Faisal.
