Aceh Besar, 23 April, 2026 – The Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf) highlighted the strategic vision behind the relaunch of the Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul Hebat (AMANAH) building as part of efforts to strengthen a locally rooted, globally competitive creative economy ecosystem. This was reflected in the relaunch of AMANAH as a youth-driven economic growth center in Aceh Besar on Thursday (April 23).
Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, delivered remarks during the relaunch of the AMANAH Creative Hub in Aceh Besar.
During his working visit to Aceh, the Minister directly reviewed the AMANAH Creative Hub, which serves as a creative space for leading subsectors such as fashion, crafts, culinary arts, and technology. The facility also includes laboratories for essential oils and patchouli processing for perfume production.
“The fifth Asta Cita of President Prabowo Subianto emphasizes improving human capital through the downstreaming of creative industries to increase economic value. The Ministry of Creative Economy is ready to collaborate with all stakeholders to activate this creative hub—curating tenants, supporting IP commercialization, scaling up access to financing and promotion—so that Aceh’s local brands can go national and national champions can go global,” the Minister stated.

The Minister also emphasized that each creative economy subsector plays a crucial role in generating quality employment while enhancing national competitiveness. He noted that the sector’s positive growth trend significantly contributes to increased investment and exports.
“The creative economy in the regions can absorb labor and reduce poverty and unemployment. Notably, the workforce in the creative sector has reached 27.4 million, with 50 percent consisting of Gen Z and millennials,” he added.
At the same event, Chairman of the AMANAH Foundation, Saifullah Muhammad, explained that the relaunch aims to restart programs that empower Acehnese youth, focusing on capacity building, creativity, and economic independence through cross-sector collaboration.

“Creative economy development does not solely depend on capital, but also on readiness, effective management, and strong collaboration. Aceh’s vast potential must be optimally managed by its young generation to ensure rapid growth and prevent external exploitation,” he said.
The relaunch of AMANAH is expected to serve as a center for youth talent development, creative business incubation, and a collaborative hexahelix space involving government, academia, businesses, communities, media, and financial institutions. With broad support, AMANAH is envisioned to produce leading creative products from Aceh that can thrive not only in domestic markets but also globally.
