Minister of Creative Economy Supports DXI 2025, Ready to Collaborate with Dyandra

Jakarta, March 12, 2025 – Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency, Teuku Riefky Harsya, discussed strategic collaboration for the upcoming Deep and Extreme Indonesia (DXI) event during a meeting with Dyandra Event Solutions (DES). The discussion marked an effort to explore and accelerate the growth of Indonesia’s creative economy.

Menekraf berdialog dengan Dyandra Event Solutions (DES) untuk membahas strategi kolaborasi untuk kegiatan Deep and Extreme Indonesia (DXI), Gedung Menara Merdeka, Jakarta, Rabu (12/3/25).

“We are collaborating with various parties, despite having budget constraints for programs. We see this event as having strong potential in promoting the creative economy and adventure tourism. However, we ask that it be further developed—identify which parts align with the focus of the Ministry/Agency of Creative Economy, and which fall more under the tourism sector,” said Minister of Creative EconomyRiefky during the meeting held at Menara Merdeka, Jakarta, on Wednesday (3/12/2025).

DXI 2025 is transforming into an inclusive event for all outdoor and underwater adventure enthusiasts, offering an extraordinary experience. With a fresh identity and renewed spirit, DXI 2025 aims to promote local destinations and products through lifestyle adventure activities, enhance market access and promotion for MSMEs, support MSME digitization and innovation in the creative economy, and strengthen the creative MSME ecosystem.

Minister of Creative Economy Riefky affirmed the Ministry’s readiness to support and collaborate with Dyandra & Co. However, he emphasized the need for more detailed discussions regarding the event’s execution to ensure effective coordination.

“The creative economy must become a new engine of national economic growth. But again, we must understand that it has to start from the regions, because the creativity of our youth is spread across even the most remote areas. An event like the one Dyandra is proposing can spark regional creativity. We've already seen examples of creative villages nurtured by local governments, with data sourced from the Ministry of Villages. Instead of building new ones, it's better if we strengthen those that already exist,” said Minister of Creative Economy Riefky, accompanied by Deputy for Creative Economy Strategic Development, Cecep Rukendi, and Director of Infrastructure Facilitation, Fahmy Akmal.

Meanwhile, Rachadian Nashidik, Managing Director of Dyandra, welcomed the meeting and expressed hope for future collaboration.

“DXI is a platform that bridges the creative economy and lifestyle adventure. When we visit these tourist destinations, creative economy products can be showcased simultaneously. We hope the Ministry of Creative Economy can exhibit its flagship products in the Pavilion Booth area during the DXI 2025 Show Days,” he said.

DXI Brand Ambassador Bucek Depp added that the event consistently involves MSMEs in exhibitions related to diving, marine life, and ecotourism in Indonesia, fostering a spirit of nationalism.

“Indonesians love adventure. One way to foster patriotism is by appreciating the creativity found in different regions. DXI 2025 is an outdoor exhibition that can educate people about the beauty of Indonesia’s underwater and terrestrial wonders. Let’s get to know our country better to grow our love for Indonesia,” he concluded.
