Jakarta, June 18, 2025 — Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, welcomed a visit from the organizing team of Festival Nyanyian Anak Negeri (FNAN) at the Autograph Tower, Thamrin Nine, Jakarta, on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. The meeting discussed efforts to develop the music subsector through the festival as a means to build an ecosystem rooted in national values.

Minister Teuku Riefky emphasized that the Ministry is ready to support and collaborate with FNAN, which brings a creativity-based festival concept.
“We fully support FNAN, which engages the younger generation in the music subsector. This festival will serve as a platform for creative collaboration that fosters artistic spirit and encourages musicians to promote songs that evoke a sense of nationalism,” said Minister Teuku Riefky.
The Minister believes that events like FNAN go beyond serving as a stage for musicians; they play a strategic role in strengthening national identity. To reinforce the nation’s character, the creative industry talents are given space to grow, develop, and contribute meaningfully to the national creative economy through music.
“Our role as the government is to act as an accelerator so that existing creative talents can scale up. Through initiatives like FNAN, young musicians and creative communities are given a proper platform to showcase their work,” Minister Teuku Riefky added.
Festival Nyanyian Anak Negeri, initiated by Tiga Belas 45 Production as a vocal competition and talent acceleration platform that not only highlights talented singers but also cultivates Young Ambassadors of Indonesia, youths equipped with character, creativity, discipline, professionalism, and a strong sense of national identity.
Previously, the FNAN team collaborated with Sinergy for Indonesia and Indonesia Care to release two albums with nationalistic themes: Nyanyian Rumah Indonesia and Nyanyian Anak Negeri. Several songs were specially composed and rearranged in collaboration with national musicians such as Pay Burman, Dul Jaelani, and Shanna Shannon.
“Our mission is to popularize national songs by rearranging them in styles that resonate with today’s youth. FNAN participants will become young ambassadors who embody strong national values and a commitment to cultural arts through music. This festival should also be supported commercially, using influencers to help promote the event,” said Ahmad Doli Kurnia, one of the initiators of FNAN and Vice Chair of the Legislative Body of the House of Representatives (Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Republik Indonesia/DPR RI).

Ahmad Doli Kurnia also emphasized the importance of support from the Ministry of Creative Economy in strengthening the spirit of nationalism among youth and opening networks for music communities to showcase their creative potential.
“For FNAN, we need moral support and network access that can come from collaboration with the government. Whatever form that collaboration may take, it will surely be meaningful,” said Doli.
This meeting marks a positive first step toward building long-term collaboration between the government and music industry stakeholders. With a spirit of mutual cooperation and a shared national vision, FNAN is expected to become a driving force in realizing the creative economy sector as the new engine of growth.
Also present at the meeting were Deputy for Media Creativity Agustini Rahayu and Director for Music Muhammad Amin, alongside FNAN initiators Pay Burman and Tatang Wahyudi; Head Manager & Production of EO 1345, Raymond Manuhutu; music activist Neno Warisman; and FNAN icons Dul Jaelani and Shanna Shannon.
