Solo, July 3, 2025 – Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, visited the factory of PT Solo Murni (Kiky Stationery) in Boyolali, Central Java. The visit aimed to review the production process of a collaboration between Kiky Stationery and animation studio Visinema through the animated work Jumbo.

During the visit, Minister Riefky was welcomed by Owner and President Director of PT Solo Murni, Sinyo Haryanto, and Director of PT Solo Murni, Rio Haryanto. Minister Riefky expressed his appreciation for Kiky’s contribution as a creative industry player consistently producing high-quality products that have successfully entered global markets.
“Kiky Stationery shows how the strength of national production can be combined with Indonesian intellectual property to deliver creative products with high added value. Their collaboration with Visinema through the Jumbo IP (Intellectual Property) is concrete proof of cross-subsector synergy that directly impacts industries and markets,” said Minister Riefky during his visit on Thursday, July 3, 2025.

The Ministry of Creative Economy continues to encourage national creative works to generate added value through sustainable commercialization. Minister Riefky also reaffirmed his support for cross-subsector collaboration.
“We want to ensure this creativity continues to be nurtured and facilitated, including by assisting creators so they can connect with industries,” added the Minister.
Founded in 1976, PT Solo Murni has expanded from a notebook manufacturer into a creative industry player producing school stationery, office supplies, greeting cards, gift packaging, and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) products, namely magazines and other stationery. Kiky products have been exported to more than 30 countries, including the United States, Japan, Austria, and Angola.

Director of PT Solo Murni, Rio Haryanto, stated that since the launch of the Jumbo collaboration product on May 15, 2025, around one million copies have been produced. According to him, the collaboration products between Kiky and Jumbo are highly sought after, especially among children, with demand peaking ahead of the new academic year.
“At this back-to-school moment, these notebooks are highly popular in the market, particularly among children,” Rio explained.

“With one machine operating in a single shift, we can produce up to 20,000 copies. We are ready to meet international market demand in line with Jumbo’s upcoming release in 30 countries,” he added.
Minister Riefky was accompanied during the visit by Deputy for Media Creativity, Agustini Rahayu; Director for Publishing and Photography, Iman Santosa; as well as representatives from local government and PT Solo Murni management.
