Aceh Tamiang, 9 March, 2026 – The Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf), in collaboration with Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), is accelerating the economic recovery of communities affected by floods in Aceh Tamiang Regency through the program “Creative Economy Business Literacy for Post-Disaster Recovery.” The activity was attended by 50 creative economy entrepreneurs and included the distribution of business capital assistance and staple food packages for each participant.
The Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency, through the Directorate for the Development of Access to Funding, Financing, and Investment, organized the Creative Economy Business Literacy program as part of post-disaster recovery efforts in Aceh Tamiang Regency, Aceh Tamiang, on Friday (March 6, 2026).
The Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, emphasized that the government is present on the ground to directly assist communities affected by disasters.
“This is the President’s directive for us to go directly to the field, listen, and assist communities affected by disasters, especially in Aceh,” said Teuku Riefky.
The activity, held on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Best Kopi, Aceh Tamiang, aims to equip creative economy entrepreneurs with skills in financial management, strengthening business management, and access to financing. The program is expected to help entrepreneurs resume their production activities and accelerate the recovery of the local economy following the disaster.
Following this directive, the Deputy for Strategic Development of the Creative Economy, Cecep Rukendi, was present in Aceh Tamiang and conveyed his deepest condolences for the flood disaster, which occurred on a larger scale than previous incidents.

“If this represents the Ministry’s presence and commitment to collectively rise and recover from the disaster, then on this occasion the support provided is not only material assistance, but also equally important knowledge and motivation that the participants will gain,” said Cecep.
The Head of the Tourism, Creative Economy, Youth, and Sports Office of Aceh Tamiang Regency, Muhammad Farij, expressed his appreciation for the central government’s attention to the economic recovery of communities in his region.
“The Ministry of Creative Economy has provided significant support in Aceh, such as motivational assistance and equipment in the form of stoves for culinary entrepreneurs some time ago. Following the flood, the Ministry has once again come to bring motivation and funding,” said Farij.

He also expressed appreciation for the role of BSI and hoped that stimulative support and empowerment initiatives such as this could continue in the coming years to help revive the economy of Aceh Tamiang, including through expanded access to KUR financing.
Support also came from the banking sector. The Area Micro & Pawning Manager of BSI, Jasrun, conveyed BSI’s commitment to assisting customers affected by the floods.
“BSI has proactively supported customers since the flood disaster struck on November 26, and the bank has provided relaxation measures in the form of a three-month payment postponement until January, adjusted to the conditions of each customer,” said Jasrun.
He added that BSI will evaluate the policy and stands ready to extend the relaxation period if necessary to ease customers’ monthly financial burdens. This relaxation is expected to provide space for entrepreneurs to develop new strategies and recover their businesses.

The series of business literacy activities featured three main speakers. The Director for the Development of Access to Funding, Financing, and Investment at the Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency, Anggara Hayun Anujuprana, delivered a presentation on “Introduction to Business Literacy.” This was followed by the Assistant Deputy for Partnerships and Micro Business Supply Chains at the Ministry of MSMEs, Pristiyanto, who presented the topic “Market Access and Business Assistance for Entrepreneurs through the Integrated Business Service Center (PLUT) Program.” Meanwhile, Jasrun from BSI explained the support provided by Bank Syariah Indonesia for the development of creative economy enterprises.
As part of post-disaster economic recovery efforts, business capital assistance totaling Rp125 million for 50 creative economy entrepreneurs, along with staple food packages, was symbolically handed over by the Deputy for Strategic Development of the Creative Economy, Cecep Rukendi; the Director for the Development of Access to Funding, Financing, and Investment, Anggara Hayun Anujuprana; the Head of the Tourism, Creative Economy, Youth, and Sports Office of Aceh Tamiang Regency, Muhammad Farij; the Branch Manager of BSI KC Kuala Simpang, Muhammad Iqbal Pulungan; and the Area Micro & Pawning Manager of Bank Syariah Indonesia, Jasrun.

The distribution of this assistance is the result of a strategic collaboration between the Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency and Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), which is expected to serve as an initial stimulus to help revive the production activities of creative economy entrepreneurs in Aceh Tamiang following the disaster.
