Jakarta, May 26, 2025 – Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, met with Rifat Sungkar and Sissy Priscillia to discuss collaboration on the Secret Riding program. This initiative is a series of motorcycle journeys across Indonesia, held periodically throughout the year, aimed at uncovering creative economy potential in various regions.

“Programs like this provide a strategic platform to accelerate Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and creative industries toward national and global scale. A collaborative approach based on the hexahelix model is key to addressing the challenges faced by this sector,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky during the meeting held at Autograph Tower, Jakarta, on Monday, May 26, 2025.
Through Secret Riding, Rifat Sungkar and Sissy Priscillia seek to capture the pulse of local creativity — from custom motorcycle workshops showcasing innovation, to family-owned coffee stalls with heirloom recipes, to artisans preserving cultural heritage. Each journey will be turned into documentary content that highlights human stories, places, and works representing grassroots creative strength.
According to data from the Ministry of Creative Economy, over the past five years, employment in the creative economy sector has grown from 900,000 to 2.5 million workers, with more than 50 percent being youth. This aligns with the government’s priority to create quality jobs (Asta Cita 3, the vision outlined by President Prabowo Subianto), mitigate geopolitical impacts, and achieve the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) target of 8 percent economic growth.

“Ministry of Creative Economy is ready to serve as a collaborator between creators like Rifat and Sissy and regional governments to facilitate the journey and spotlight each region’s creative economy,” Minister Teuku Riefky added.
Rifat Sungkar, rally driver and content creator, expressed his excitement about the collaboration. The ministry will also work with local governments to ensure that the content produced by Secret Riding amplifies promotion efforts and strengthens each region’s creative identity.
