Jakarta, February 19, 2025 – Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency Teuku Riefky Harsya received an audience from the Indonesian Floral Designers Association (IPBI) at the Pesona Indonesia Film Building in Jakarta. The meeting discussed the development of the floriculture industry in Indonesia and strategic collaboration between the government and industry players in this sector.

IPBI is a professional organization committed to developing the floral industry in Indonesia. The organization aims to position flowers as a source of economic growth and foreign exchange for the country. One of IPBI's concrete initiatives is the organization of the Indonesia Floral Show (IFS) 2025, set to take place in Bali on May 19-22, 2025. This event will serve as a platform for producers and consumers to connect at both national and international levels.
Minister of Creative Economy Riefky affirmed the Ministry of Creative Economy’s readiness to support and collaborate with IPBI in advancing the floriculture subsector.

"Collaboration between the Ministry of Creative Economy and the Indonesian Floral Designers Association (IPBI) is crucial for the progress of the creative economy sector in Indonesia," Riefky stated during the meeting on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
As a concrete form of support, Minister of Creative Economy Riefky announced that the Ministry is prepared to issue an official letter of support for the Indonesia Floral Show (IFS) 2025 and facilitate coordination with the Bali Provincial Government to ensure the event's success. "The Ministry of Creative Economy is ready to provide an official letter of support for the Indonesia Floral Show (IFS) 2025," he added.
During the meeting, Riefky also discussed plans to coordinate with various stakeholders, including regional heads, to establish Creative Economy Offices at the regional level. This initiative is expected to accommodate creative economy subsectors that are not yet fully facilitated at the national level, enabling optimal development of regional potential.

Lucia Laras, the Founder of IPBI, welcomed the support from the Minister of Creative Economy and expressed hope that this collaboration would continue.
"The audience with the Minister of Creative Economy was very positive. We hope the Ministry of Creative Economy will continue to support the development of the floriculture industry through strong collaboration," she said.
During the meeting, Minister of Creative Economy Riefky was accompanied by the Director for Craft, Neli Yana.
