Jakarta, May 26, 2025 – Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, commended Indonesian restaurant Meatguy Steakhouse for being named one of the World’s 101 Best Steakhouses. The steakhouse, owned by content creator Dimas Ramadhan – widely known as Dimas The Meat Guy – was recently recognized as one of the world’s best steakhouses among hundreds of thousands of contenders worldwide.

“This achievement deserves our highest appreciation. It proves that Indonesian youth can reach international quality standards. This milestone should serve as motivation for Indonesia’s culinary industry to pursue the same level of recognition. Therefore, the Ministry of Creative Economy encourages culinary industry players to collectively showcase that Indonesian cuisine is ready to enter the global market,” said Minister Teuku Riefky during his visit to Meatguy Restaurant in SCBD, Jakarta, on Monday, May 26, 2025.
The Ministry is committed to supporting creative economy players so that their success is not limited to the domestic market but also extends globally. The recognition of Meatguy Steakhouse demonstrates that Indonesian products can meet international standards and compete on the world stage.

“We hope Meatguy Steakhouse will eventually open branches overseas. Beyond serving as a tool of culinary diplomacy, this initiative could also create new job opportunities and contribute to export growth,” added Minister Teuku Riefky.
Meatguy Restaurant secured the 90th spot on the list of the world’s 101 best steakhouses – a result of years of dedication and hard work. Dimas expressed that the challenge posed by Minister Teuku Riefky to expand globally aligns perfectly with the vision and mission of Meatguy Steakhouse.
