Indonesia’s 6th President SBY expressed confidence in the ability of Indonesian youth to bring meaningful change to the nation and the world. According to President SBY, great aspirations cannot be realized without hard work, perseverance, and the courage to take well-planned steps.
“I have never doubted the ability of our young generation to contribute to our country, even to the world. I trust you all. You have to have a dream. Aim as high as the sky, but dreams do not fall from the sky—they must be pursued and fought for,” said President SBY.
President SBY emphasized the importance of mental readiness and a strong sense of patriotism. Young people, he noted, must be part of the solution by protecting the planet, combating poverty, and upholding social justice. Life, he said, is an endless learning process—an “eternal university” where each step, failure, and success offers valuable lessons for shaping a better future.
