Jakarta, 18 July 2025 – The Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency and PT Cerdas Digital Nusantara (CAKAP) collaborated to conduct free digital training for 1,000 creative MSMEs, focusing on strengthening business capacity in the digital era. This collaboration program was agreed upon and signed at the Gedung Film Pesona Indonesia, Jakarta, Friday (18/07/2025).
Doc. Bureau for Communication – Strengthening the creative ecosystem, the Ministry of Creative Economy presents a digital training program in collaboration with CAKAP, Friday (18/07/2025).
“Programs like this represent a concrete manifestation of the Ministry of Creative Economy’s vision to position the creative economy sector as the new engine of growth,” said Muhammad Neil El Himam, Deputy Minister for Digital Creativity and Technology at the Ministry of Creative Economy.
The training will be conducted online and free of charge for creative MSME actors across Indonesia. A total of 1,000 vouchers will be distributed for free digital training in the fields of business & management, career development, language, media & creative, and technology.

“We hope this initiative can open access to relevant and adaptive training for creative MSME actors in various regions, while also strengthening the national digital creative economy ecosystem,” said Neil.
The training program will run for three months, supported by a system of regular monitoring and evaluation. Each module is designed to address real challenges in the field and to support the enhancement of MSME competitiveness in the digital economy era.
Wahyu Wicaksono, Acting Director of Applications at the Ministry of Creative Economy, added that CAKAP was selected as a partner due to its structured learning modules and a positive track record of collaboration.

“We believe CAKAP can support capacity building for digital talents and MSME actors, particularly those engaged in digital creativity and technology,” said Wahyu.
CAKAP is a technology-based learning platform provider that has been operating since 2014. The platform delivers both online and offline training and is utilized by various institutions, including the private sector and CSR programs.
Jonathan Mario Dharmasoeka, Chief Financial Officer of PT CAKAP, welcomed the collaboration. “We believe this training can serve as a tangible contribution to strengthening the capacity of creative economy actors, particularly MSMEs, so they are better prepared to face the digital era,” said Jonathan.

This training initiative not only addresses short-term skills needs, but also forms part of the long-term strategy of the Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency to strengthen the competitiveness foundation of Indonesia’s creative economy. Through improved digital literacy and access to quality training, creative MSMEs are expected to grow more adaptive, innovative, and capable of penetrating global markets.
Through this collaboration, the Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency reinforces synergy between the government and the private sector to expand the impact of digital training and strengthen the national creative economy ecosystem network.
