Ministry of Creative Economy and IDX Open Opportunities for Creative Economy Players to Strengthen Financial Literacy

Jakarta, 13 November 2025 – The Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency and the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) are committed to opening new opportunities for creative economy players to expand their businesses by strengthening financial literacy and facilitating access to financing. Creative economy practitioners are provided with education and policy support that meets global standards, enabling them to scale up through the KreatIPO Go Public Workshop roadshow.

“KreatIPO is a tangible form of the government’s commitment to helping creative economy players elevate their businesses. We want creative entrepreneurs not only to grow at the local level but also to compete and attract investment globally. The capital market offers enormous opportunities for this, as long as we prepare ourselves with strong governance and innovation,” said Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency Teuku Riefky Harsya on Thursday, 13 November 2025.

KreatIPO was held at Eastparc Hotel, Yogyakarta, on Tuesday, 11 November 2025. Minister Teuku Riefky also underscored the importance of cross-sector collaboration in strengthening financing access for creative economy practitioners.

The Ministry of Creative Economy will continue to expand its business mentoring and financial literacy programs so that more creative economy players are ready to go public and contribute to national economic growth. In addition, Anggara Hayun Anujuprana, Director of Access to Finance, Funding, and Investment Development at the Ministry of Creative Economy, stated that KreatIPO is a strategic initiative to broaden financing access, encourage more professional business transformation, and enhance the competitiveness of the creative industry in the global market.

“Through the KreatIPO program, we aim to encourage more creative economy players to understand the process, benefits, and readiness required to become a public company. Going public is not merely a financial step but a transformation toward more professional and modern governance,” said Anggara, who also served as a speaker during the workshop.

The KreatIPO Workshop was also attended and well-received by the Head of the Yogyakarta City Tourism Office, Imam Pratanadi. He emphasized that the creative economy is one of the main drivers of regional economic growth and strengthens Yogyakarta’s tourism appeal.

Several multi-sector speakers also delivered presentations during the KreatIPO workshop, including Head of Startups & SME Development of IDX Alan Fatih; Director of PT Surya Fajar Sekuritas Steffen; Partner at RSM Indonesia Public Accounting Firm Bimo Iman Santoso; and President Director of PT Imago Mulia Persada Tbk Erlangga Ksatria.

Through a talk show session and a mentoring session with Capital Market Supporting Professional Institutions, participants received in-depth insights on IPO stages, audit processes, company readiness strategies, and firsthand experiences from creative economy companies that have successfully gone public. The KreatIPO program is expected to open broader opportunities for creative entrepreneurs across various regions to access long-term financing sources, strengthen capital structures, and expand their networks with both local and global investors.
